This video is incredibly helpful. As someone who's generated thousands of images with Midjourney, I've discovered there are still important insights I wasn't aware of. Thank you for sharing all this valuable informations.

Thanks so much, your tips are always very helpful. What's helped me a lot is using an image reference within inpainting/editing. For example, I generated a character and background that looked great, but I wanted to change his hair color to be silver. When I just tried inpainting the hair with the prompt "man with silver hair," it would not change the color. But when I then added a reference image of silver hair within the inpainting editor, it got exactly what I was looking for.

A few things: (in order) That's not really how --iw works. Its a balance between image and prompt. You have chosen a character that MJ would do even without that image in tow. MJ does not copy images.(except in the new editor) Niji can do SOOO much more than anime (try using --style raw in niji to help reduce the anime look) Better to say "Yellow roses" Using a negative can remove a whole swath of the data set you might actually need. Prompt positively whenever possible. Prompt for what you want in frame will override whatever ratio you choose While MJ is GPT savvy, GPT can be overly verbose so tell GPT to limit itself to 50 words or so. Tell it also to not include things that can't be visualized (like thoughts) MJ V6.x has been trained on photos and has a default style that is photography. Why would you want to remove that with --style raw if you want a photo? Reducing the --s will reduce coherency (bad) while a high value will get you closer to what is in the dataset (which is photos - so...good!). --style raw does not make MJ more prompt adherent (but a low --s will) - it will however be useful when using another style other than photography Chaos values up to about 50 are pretty easy and safe. Values like 6 are barely doing anything. (n niji, take whatever --c value you would normally use in MJ an divide it by 4. Niji is extra sensitive to --c. Chat rooms 1,000-10,000 have been combined into "Superusers" chat room (this clip must be from an old video?) Adding in what they are standing on will allow a full length shot (use this instead of full body) and will allow it even in wide aspects. --v 6.1 is the newest algorithm, not v6 --sv 4 is the one being used if you don't include ---sv 4 is the default MJ doesn't care what the design is for - focus on the design and content and not what the design will be used for. You don't have to say t-shirt For HO scale, also try "tiltshift lens" for that miniature diorama look --cw 100 is the whole character, --c 0 is more focused on just the face Using pixels as the --ar is a great way to get CLOSE to that ar. All AI imagers have to round off to pixel block sizes of (usually) the nearest 16, 32, or 64 pixels. So it won't always be an exact ratio of what you asked for, nor hit those dimensions once scaled. And because MJ has a fixed total pixel dimension, asking for --ar 940:335 will NOT generate an image at those pixel dimensions --q isn't really a quality thing, its a detail thing
