Don't mean to be like barging into businesses, but it's actually a plasma blade, or something close to it as a holographic blade, as it sounds, is holographic. It doesn't contain physical properties to stab, slice, etc. Plasma on the other hand, although unstable and highly dependent on high electricity and can go in a straight line indefinitely because it needs a pull to not only turn it, but shape it into a blade would be quite most impossible but impressive at most. Back to topic, the blade would still need at price of metal to ride across, which would give it it's blade shape, while keeping the plasma in controlled, but still slightly unstable state. But that white knife is extremely impossible, unless the whole blade is able to withstand high amounts of heat and it's got a battery in the handle, also how does it turn on? Exactly, nowhere in lore doesn't say that Assassins do not keep with the times. Like in La Hermanidad, Ezio was using a parachute in 1503 Rome. So a modern Assassin would be a bit better equipped possibly with carbon fiber impregnated into a ceramic or titanium weave armor. Also a mask with a fully integrated AI directly fed to the Animus. Laser and sonic "knives" that can pierce all armor and in 2050 possibly cybernetic augments. A Terminator level Assassin with the power of an army at his or her disposal. Vehicles perhaps that hover, automated microdrones and cybernetic "animals" acting as sensors and eyes. The list is long and not all inclusive. All it takes is an imagination and Ubisoft could reboot the franchise.

Edit: To clarify, a cybernetic animal would have a biological body, but with extensive nanotechnology and brain augmentation to turn it into a thinking ,living assistant to aid the Assassin in his or her mission. And before you say it, it is NOT animal cruelty as these creatures are probably grown in a lab and augmented to be an assistant to the Assassin and are fed and cared for. They are the all seeing, the all hearing, the all knowing. For they see where the Assassin cannot. For their light clears the darkness.

Perhaps nano enhanced "lenses" that could be either worn like a contact lens, or even replacing the natural lenses akin to cataract lens replacement. Completely reversible if any rejection is noticed. And for assassins that cannot handle lenses or implants due to rejection, perhaps a set of "drop lenses" that are embedded in the signature hood.

That sounds awesome! As for the stealth there should be heavy focus on showing off how an assassin would translate into modern times. So stuff like parkour off building alleys then hidden blade assassinating a guy then hiding and so on but I'm sure you guys know that aha. If u guys are still thinking about the costume why not go with more of a modern arno. Theres a guy on deviantart i can't remember his name but he has a badass concept art for a modern assassin that I would love to see u guys base the design off of. Maybe try some assassinations and hiding places that are similar to the games but in a modern context, for example the Assassin could pull a guard into a dumpster instead of a haystack, or hide in the back seat of a car, stuff like that

jose perez I would agree with you, except that the members of the Assassin's Creed that are supposed to be set in the modern time are continuously finding ancient, "alien" artifacts. Imagine the story, something like this: The last Assassin in the late 21st century, takes a young street thug (the guy shown in this video) under his wing and teaches him the ropes, transforming him from a broken criminal into a hardened Assassin, and after the older mentor is killed by Templars, the younger Assassin goes on a mission of vengeance and to restore the Assassin Order. Elijah Kramer no actually if you think about it I think it could work having guns in the other games didnt ruin the game ac is a stealth parkor game at heart with close quarters fighting as it's focus and that's the amazing part of the assassins they stuck to what they knew how to do well and used new techs to their advantage. In my head I'm picturing a splinter cell or metal gear solid style of gameplay and stealth but more of a close quarters focus

I hope this never happens... the movie is done okay (except for 2:10 _(moving like this in an actual knife fight not only works only, if the opponent deliberately misses all the time, but also if you do it, you're dead)_, the awkwardly sounding last clap, or the extremely anti-climactic end of the fight where the bad guy attacks with his off-hand while his main hand remains like petrified and then basically lets himself being stabbed)... ... but just imagine that game: I hope this never happens... as if we hadn't enough over-the-top, generic, sci-fi shooters with piss-poor enemy marksman already...

I know that's the only connection between the games but that doesn't even matter since in this video it doesn't state what the time period is, CoD IW does.
