One of the original members of Parliament, he joined the group in 1965 when they were still called The Parliaments. He later became an integral voice on Funkadelic's groundbreaking series of albums for Westbound Records, as well as releasing two solo albums for the label. He quit the P-Funk groups on June, 4 1977 after a show in Los Angeles, and later tried to reclaim the Funkadelic name from George Clinton

I do hope “FUZZY” reads this. I was the little girl who lived next door to him over 40 years ago in Potts Crossing otherwise known as Edison , NJ . WOW I remember hearing the drums being played SOME TIMES LATE INTO THE NIGHT.....little did I realize I lived next door to what became a SUPER STAR.. many years later I gave birth to my only child, a boy who wound up loving the song WE WANT TO FUNK! As a mere baby he danced to the song as if it just moved his very soul.we put it on and he would start dancing at the early age of 3, 4 ...... my family always got the biggest kick out it. Today, I am 63 and he is 44 and we still love FUZZY and The Funadelics/Parliments and WE WANT TO FUNK! The beat still makes us move and remember!
