The A1 is my favorite, with only two 20mm, it's soo agile and it can out climbs 109 f4s. I even take it out (squad up) at 4.7.

@@atif1538 If you allow for auto pilot during takeoff, without flaps; you'll automatically climb to about 13 degrees of elevation. Once your going about 212 mph, usually around 800meters-1km, set your climbing elevation to 14 degrees; not 15 degrees! If you go to 15, you'll lose air speed much quicker. And given that you have unlimited wep, you'll out climb the 109 f4s. That's the most simplest explanation of how to climb well. But if you use various climb angles, based on your air speed and altitude, you can REALLY climb. It's hard to explain in the comments section, but changing your angle of climb based on the alt and speed; you can get much more performance from the plane.

@@jayklink851 I believe the only reason you are outclimbing 109s is the fact that their engines overheat extremely quickly. In a realistic dogfight situation where engine overheating is less important you will never be able to outclimb an f4 in the A1. The 109 also has better energy retention (at least in my experience) so it will fare much better in a vertical fight.

I think a1 might outclimb 109f2 because it accelerates very fast while on the ground

Notable that you absolutely can win dogfights with "superior" fighters in the 190. I've managed to go offensive on P-51s in my A5 U/2 in a turnfight without a huge amount of trouble. These aircraft are also great for head-on fighting, as they were IRL. German pilots liked to use them for that on the eastern front as per a Soviet pilot, at least until the introduction of the Yak-9K/T with the high caliber cannons. They have a large radial engine and heavily armored oil cooler/engine cowl plus armor in front of the pilot. By far my favorite prop aircraft.

Seeing you go to AB brought it to mind, but man I would LOVE a mode in between Ab and Rb for ground. Obviously it would never happen for so many reasons, but I like playing ab for the speed that the tanks have, but I like rb for the fact that tanks don’t just show up on your map and you don’t have the aim indicator lol. Basically I want rb but with abs mobility lol

You really should try the W.GR.21s they're excellent bomber hunter rockets, with airburst fuse, they hit extremely hard and can easily one shot any aircraft with a near miss, however it is difficult now because it's shockwave blast radius was reduced so you have to be accurate, apparently they have the same drop as the MK108s, so if you're good at that then you might like these

I only wanted to say that italian planes over the 4.7 br start to have absurd repair cost, more than 10 000 sl and usually require 5-6 kill to get the repair cost back. I can't play them for this reason, they are always a net loss.

You should try the A5/U2 its faster and more maneuverable becasue of its lighter weapon load. But it still kicks ass even with only 2 mg151s

The 190As are at their best below 20k feet. The A5 is okay. But I’m not entirely certain that the better engine cooling and FF/M cannons are worth the maneuverability hit compared to the A4.

I could do one, in theory. Thanks for the idea! The A-5 and A-8 are a bit different, mainly in terms of performance/weaponry, so it would be worth making a video.
