Now check Wurkkos TS10. It has a brass option, seems like you love Cu, Ti, Brass finish. That why I think Wurkkos is brilliant that they glued and sealed the tailcap for reliability since E-switches are sensitive.

I'm planning to buy an FWAA. The copper one is $55 but the SST-20 4000k is sold od and the titanium is $65. Which one would you get? The ti-copper combo is too expensive. Does the pure ti version have noticably decreased output since it's a poor heat conductor?

I don't have the full ti version (my fw3 also happen to be in cu), but I would believe so, being so tiny with triple emitters. It's always a tough choice, but normally I would always opt for Ti (but I've been in a patina kick lately). Especially if it's only $10 bucks difference. (usually ti cost quite a bit more) If you're planning to use turbo a lot I would suggest to get the copper one. But in my case I find that I rarely use turbo. Looks good! I’ve got the same version of the fw3 on its way to me.. yeah I’m late to the party lol. Hadn’t really looked at lights for a couple years lol. But anyway I’ll probably snag one of these if I like it’s bigger brother enough! I’d had been carrying a d25c ti for years but it finally crapped out.. it ONLY has high mode now for some reason.. it’s mostly been replaced with a little rovyvon for now.. and I also just scored a Prometheus beta in ti so it gets a lot of pocket time atm too. But I had an itch for a new big boy light as well and the lumintop was most appealing without really breaking the bank. I’ve also noticed that I can only rely get the copper shorty tubes so at least the ti/copper fw3 should look pretty good in that configuration.

Couple years huh.. oh boy, you're in for a treat ;p Have you checked on the threads on the d25c? I think if you tightened it you're in group 2 (Hi+Strobe only), try loosening a bit to go to group 1. (I was looking for the older d25a ti before, but gave up.) FW3CuTi + cu short tube?! Why didn't I think of that? pls post some pic. are you in social media? I'll try to find you on IG. @Dan Wilson Wow, 15 Lmtps?! I gotta admit, I was considering the raw aluminum / copper EDC18, and also LM10 😁 I am aware of KR4, was also tempted before.. like the cu ti, esp in the short tube. And the Clip looks awesome (Definitely, infinitely better than the d4v2 clip). I mentioned in my previous video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2PWgZ5jlpljbdk), for sideswitch, I prefer D4v2 over EDC18, and for tailswitch I prefer FW series over the KR.. My next Emisar(s) would be the dual-channel D4V2 Antique brass, and I'm waiting/hoping for the Cu Ti D4sV2 (Or if I get impatient I would give in to the Cyan one instead). @Dan Wilson As far as I know Emisar is the only/first one doing this. Their quad emitters, including the KR4 can be mixed with 2 different leds (2 each). and with Anduril 2, you can not only ramp the brightness, but also ramp the tint (instant switching also available). For example, Nichia 219b 2500k + 4500k, so you can ramp from warm to neutral. Or, combination with Thrower leds, Nichia 219b 4500k + W1 for flood light or thrower. And each "channel" can also be ramped for the brightness individually. @@urbandadcarry I actually ended up finding a raw aluminum 18350 tube for half the price and went with that.. I don’t really plan to use it much anyway but it’ll give me a use for the couple batteries I’ve got sitting around. The whole point of a new 18650 light was for the runtimes.. and the ramping/firmware. Don’t really use social media much but I recently logged back into my ig.. silofox. Might start posting some edc stuff, but realistically I’d rather make a new account for that. I’m a glassblower and my current one is mostly pipes I’ve made lol. Oh yea, I know all about how to use the eagtacs.. I’ve got three of em at the moment, my 2015 d25, a 2019 d3c ti and a 2014 d25a ti.. Plus a couple others that I’ve lost/sold/gifted. Great lights! I can make it jump back to the moonlight by wiggling the head around without really screwing it in.. it’ll seem like it’s ok again but after sitting for a little while, it’s back to high only. I’ve tried my other head on its body and vice versa. It’s just kinda kaput. EDIT: Ok.. just played with the eagtac A little more. It still cyckes through all modes, I can also do the low mode swap thing. It just always starts on high now instead of moonlight. Is there some way to reverse the l/m/h that I don't know about? Fwiw, ive always used 16340s in it, but I did try a cr123 and it acted tbe same, with the exception of having a real medium lol ANOTHER EDIT: it does have a memory mode that can be turned on by tightening the head down and lose& tightening it three times.. opposite of the mode group swap. Problem fixed! Stoked! This light has my favorite tint of my collection.. cri is actually excellent as well. Comparable to my nichias but with a warmish, but still very clean white. Like I said, I liked it so much that i ordered a second with the same led, but it just isn't as good. The good one was actually my second d25c ti, after losing my first. A 2014 version, and it's better than I remember that one being as well.

@Dan Wilson eh.. too late lol. The kr4 looks great but I’ve since received my fw3 and love it.. all but the tint.. xpl-nw (my long Carried d25 was a xpl-hi-neutral and it was by far my favorite tint for a while.. perfect tint, great cri.. but it seems like a gamble because the one I bought later, with the same led, just didn’t do it for me) so I scoured the shops and found a purple aluminum one with the sst20 in 4kk. Plan is to swap it out/ keep my favorite of the two then either sell, gift or just keep the aluminum as a beater/backup. I’ve told myself that I’m done buying edc crap for a little while after this one, but we’ll see lol. FWIW, my current fw3 works flawlessly. None of the switch weirdness that I’ve seen reported.. but it seems like that’s been fixed for a while now.. I’ve also got a handful of accessories coming for the fw3 now.. a couple clips, flow gaskets, 18350 tube, a couple different optics.. and maybe a little more lol. I’ll see once it all arrives lol Also, while I’ll admit that I bough the first fw3 somewhat on impulse (I watched a handful of videos and browsed a handful of stores first), I do find the triple setup more aesthetically pleasing and the max output isn’t super important to me.. I rarely even used the full 500lm offered by the d25. As for the body between the two, I could go either way there. I like me some expensive gear but I gotta like how it looks first lol. But lights like the edc18/ olight/fenix lineup just don’t do it for me.. black anodized aluminum.. no thanks.. anodized aluminum in general just doesn’t do it for me. I always prefer ti, but brass or copper are cool too. Except for turning my hands green if I hold ‘em too long lol. Although I do like the extra weight.. never been one to count grams. My only aluminum lights are an old dqg tiny 4 and an even older sipik sk68.

yes there are 😅 Lmntp really milking this one. but this is the smallest 14500 (AA Size) version. They now came with the 1 led version as well haha. for some, options might be good, but I can totally understand that it can get overwhelming.
