They bible says in 1 Corinthians that not all speak in tongues. You tie people up with this. You have received the Holy Spirit when you are born again. You then ask for him to fill you to overflowing with the Holy Spirit. Paul was rebuking the church in Corinth for all speaking in tongues at the same time. He didn't rebuke any other church for this. God gives gifts to each one as he chooses.In acts chapter 2 it was known languages there was a reason it was to go out into all the world to preach the gospel to others in KNOWN languages
