Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman on The Power of Cost-Effectiveness Evidence to Improve Lives

On October 10, 2024, USAID Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman highlighted recent steps USAID has taken to maximize the impact achieved on humanitarian and development objectives for every dollar of U.S. foreign assistance spent. At an event hosted by the Center for Global Development, the Deputy Administrator reaffirmed USAID’s commitment to cost-effectiveness by launching two new Agency Position Papers: one on Cost-Effectiveness and one on Direct Monetary Transfers.
