“Fuel for Change” is a short documentary about the traditional method of cooking with charcoal in Haiti and its impact on people’s well-being and Haiti’s fragile forests. It highlights how Haitian entrepreneurs are providing alternative, cleaner cooking solutions so that Haitians can take action to lead healthier lives and preserve Haiti’s environment. Together with with the Haitian Government, private entrepreneurs, and civil society, USAID helped grow a local market and a sustainable industry for alternative clean cookstoves, including those that use liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and biomass.

Really glad to see that people are being given an alternative form of energy for cooking. Sometimes it takes a major disaster for people to wake up and look for alternatives. I agree that reforestation should have been discussed more. In 20 years I'm hoping to see a greener Haiti. God bless Haiti and the Haitian people.

That won’t make a country that’s filled with corruption grow. Haitians all around needs to stop the mentality of being feed by the hand to then starve throughout the future. Reconstruction and an iron fist is needed once more since people don’t already listen begging foreigners here and there. H.A’s needs an easier dual citizenship access for Haiti to take hold on Haitian political system and handle the crisis around.

I'm a Dominican American I would love to unite the island but I know that would never happen, I would go to Haiti and tell the people let's take the island by force. Change people's perspective and ideology of the Haitian people and show the world what an ex slave nation can do
@xizoxd2467
@xizoxd2467 3 жыл бұрын
As a Haitian American it’ll be best for the Dominicans to stand at the side line and watch. Yes the Haitians in Haiti are asking for help but their asking and begging the foreigners who don’t really care about country’s growth. I also want to see the island be United but Haiti needs to grow first or else but sides would collapse. The population growth in Haiti needs to also decrease substantially; a growing population and declining economic don’t mix which can result in ultimate failure now in towards the future. Haiti needs its Haitians abroad and overseas. Haiti needs to allow and provide easier dual citizenship to those abroad and overseas based off of grandparents brith. As you said the perspective and ideology of Haitians are lacking in needs change. I’d go and help now but there’s way to many Greedy starving Haitians at this point that they’ll probably take my head for dollar and few change; so in a way fear is stopping me and plenty of other, so Haitians in Haiti gotta stop that. But overall Haiti needs an iron fist; and I for one wouldn’t mind being that black knight the country needs once again.

This is a very good documentary history of Haiti comes first to understand Haiti but the people need to stop making the country looking ancient and rebuilt and regrow the trees and upgrade every thing already and stop being scared to do it there is not enough Haitian working together to do it. Built restaurant and other things.cause in America I see they have no problem to rebuilt but for some reason when you mentioned to do the same thing for Haiti suddenly they become discouraged and doing all other bull crap and giving people like myself a problem for trying to make living.

Actually, the 150 million francs for reparation is incorrect. That is misleading information. The Charles X edict has three articles in it; each one worth about 150 million francs. The first article declares that French ship will only pay half duty (tariffs) at Haitian seaports - that alone is worth 150 million francs. So, what is being said in the video is misleading.

May God inspire those who mean well the resolve and action to help this island nation stop the bad guys in this situation and establish responsible governing May He also comfort and save the victims in the name of His son Jesus Christ. The hypocrite Christian culture the slave masters inherited from their unscriptual way the catholic, and still not getting the gospel right protestant reformers failed the real Gospel. Our spiritman part of our being the part that is supposed to rule our lives (instead of our fleshly nature leading our lives)...that spiritman we are, is now supposed to be actually newly born again, from the Father of all spirits. Giving us a new chance to follow God's excellence and become perfect like He is; flawless perfection. Fitting kids for a perfect God. When then the children of these misdirected Christians became masters and ABUSERS of the people they were suppose to lead into true christianity, their victims ran back to the devil for help. The devil himself is an abuser who rules via clever lies. Lies disfunction and malfunctions; that is why Hatti is always in trouble. If they turn from voodoo, to become saved friends of the living Jesus who sits on the throne of the Father together with the Father; they will help throw satan where he belongs (the septic tank created for the devil and his angels (the word angels mean messengers) from where he will leave "being" forever, (" you will not be forever"). Are you sure you want to put out, messages from him for him (as many are chosing to do today? You will also take part of his punishment. All his stuff will pass away forever and ever.
