For the university, as someone who's in academia, I wanted to offer some open-ended prompts of things to have, focusing on things you might not have thought of that will stand out and make unique builds to give the university some character: -Where do students live? Dorms, nearby cheap apartment-style housing, fraternity buildings, etc -Where do students eat? Dining halls, but also cafes, convenience stores, food trucks, etc -Where do students go to drink/party? Where do students have illegal parties (underage drinking etc)? Where do students who don't want to drink go to party? -Where do students go to work out? Are there sports fields/stadiums? Walking trails? A gym with equipment? Dance studios? -Where do students go if they are sick? Do nursing/medical students have an onsite hospital to practice treating patients? -How do students travel to and across campus? Is there a shuttle? Do they ride bikes, skateboards, and scooters? Are there desire paths? Are there disused buildings where the path has been degraded? -Where do students study hands-on topics? Art studios, but also labs for experiments, lab schools for education students, outdoor areas for studying plants/animals, etc. Art studios can also include specialty areas like ceramics studios and their kilns, blacksmithing forges, photography darkrooms, etc. -Where is student work shown off? Is there a theater? Concert hall? Museum? Student art is often displayed in other buildings, especially libraries, dining halls, and outdoor areas. -Where do students graduate? Sometimes graduation is just held on a sports field or in a concert hall/theater, but sometimes there are grand arches and promenades for the purpose. -Where do administrators work? Where are the janitors based? Where do the staff (non-teaching workers) and faculty (teaching workers) live? -Universities grow and evolve over time, so having an old part of campus and a new part might be a fun way to vary your builds. University architecture is pretty distinctive and there are a few architectural styles that just scream "american university". Hope this gives you lots of good inspiration! I'm super passionate about academia so hearing that you'll have a university build really inspired me to think about what I'd consider must-haves when building a university. These are a little skewed towards modern day but I hope breaking it down into important questions can help make them more broadly applicable.

I love that you also specified having old and new parts of campus. My college has been open over 150 years and constantly are building new stuff and renovating. I lived in a nice newly built dorm with air conditioning. But some of my classes are in buildings that are so old there is only 1 bathroom on each floor because it was built before women could go to college.

This might not mean much, but i personally GREATLY appreciate you working in lower brightness. Maybe we can't see as well, but it feels so much better and looks so much cooler and more atmospheric. Your builds are incredible and the aesthetic is amazing, but when it feels like you're using night vision constantly, some of that gets lost, so to me this is much better!

I also think it’s a great idea to leave the details of the back walls blank. It will give you so much more freedom to build what you want there later. Please give the horse you attached to the cart a haybale. Or maybe a carrot or apple in a frame. He’s gonna get hungry!

Glad to see you getting your groove back by playing with the new blocks and surprised-happy that you're doing interiors. That aviary is so cool! Love the use of the copper grates. An example could be something that was a spa or such being turned into a office, workshop or cafe. Also the kind of buildings non-commersial public buildings would be stuff like places of worship, bathrooms, public drinking fountains etc. Possibly also fast food places? Watching this this morning with my daughter. We wanted to offer a suggestion for the brew room where the skeleton spawned. You put some dirt inside under another roof because of light bleed. Could the same principle be applied to the "barrels" or "brewer tanks" in that room? You used the stairs and left a space inside, maybe a soul lantern (in that empty space) could bleed enough out of the stairs that it would light the space but still be dark enough for the ambiance (this would be in lieu of the glow lichen you added after the skeleton spawned. We love your stuff and treat your videos as Saturday Morning Cartoons in our house. Thank you for sharing your process it has helped us with our own builds.
