7:10 Fun fact: mobs can not set off shriekers. So no need to panic if mobs are walking around in the deep dark. Only player noise will trigger a shrieker.

When raiding ocean ruins, ALWAYS break the bottom blocks touching the sand because 9 times out of 10, you’re find more sus sand. Also, sniffer eggs are only found in the warm ocean biome.

While you are taking advantage of early game. It would be cool to do a world with close together biomes and do a sprawl showing natural towns using only local resources, and in between towns with trading that shows influence from its connected areas. And slowly but surely get more and more advanced as you approach where there are portals / the stronghold!

Hey fwhip, just want to say I'm really glad to see you slowing down. I marathoned three of your previous single player worlds but then stopped watching your ongoing hardcore (about the time you built the giant tree, I think) because it started to feel like I was watching a slideshow of your art with commentary, instead of watching you play Minecraft. The things you build are fantastic but it isn't all that enjoyable for me to watch timelapses of impressive builds. I'd rather just watch you play. This already feels a lot more like the series' that really got me watching you, and ngl I missed it a lot. I hope you continue to having fun, and look forward to seeing more content at a slower pace.

a thing i learned this year with minecraft is that you can transfer enchantmet from a tool on to a book with a grindstone. wich is awsome. you put the tool where you always put it in agrindstone, but in the box under it you put a book, and it should transfor the enchats to the book. Edit: been informed that this is not true, but a plugin. Sorry for that i thought that was a vanillia thing not a plugin.
