what’s so funny to me about watching this after not playing the game in at least a decade is hearing about speedrun tricks and thinking “lol my friend told me that in a playground rumor when I was 10”

May i suggest 2 things to improve time? First, there is a Japanese exclusive version of SSA on the Wii U which has a stronger engine that could probably handle the winged boots, probably. Secondly, 2 years ago someone used supe jumps with Stealf Elf in *"Oil Spill Island"* and did the whole level in 24 seconds, so time can definitely be saved there too. While it could be done with Stealf elf, it might be easier with Ghost Roaster.

I’ve improved Oilspill Island by 8 seconds over the past two years on Wii U. I used Drill Sergeant who’s faster than Stealth Elf for that level (with winged boots). Unfortunately megaantman is too stubborn to implement it into any%

@@happygamer198 I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. But if not... no. I haven't really played skylanders in a while and I'm in the middle of moving out of my house and into a new one, so all that stuff is packed away I a storage unit. Also, I don't think I would be good at a skylanders speed run at all. Probably. Heck, I'd get super confused about the P1C2 coordinates trick and fumble anyway. That stuff is beyond me. Though I did do the final area of Rayman Origins deathless in 4 min. It's on my channel. I just really like skylanders too is all. So I know a bunch of random things.

sadly the wiiu version is even more unstable than the wii version winged boots wil make the wiiu crash even more and the reason we use stealf elf compared to like ghost roaster she is just way faster speed wise plus switching to ghoast roaster takes another 7 sec the only way u can beat oil spil in 24 sec is an il done on the pc version (hd version) witch has its own sepirate glitchess like infinite winged boots that lets u climb up to the end bit on the wii version u need to free evryone with the key before the bomb wil spawn that wil allow us to finish the level

@@speedrunnercartman2358 Oh I see... Thanks for the know. I thought it worked because the Wii U was a stronger engine, but I don't own one so I didn't know it's actually worse. And I didn't know that the console/PC versions had different checks for the bomb.

interesting how much the wii version varies, the version that every other version has uses a glitch with the winged boots that basically makes the effects of it permanent and because of that there's some genuinely insane skips for it, that being said getting a world record is pretty huge and the skips here are pretty interesting, also fun fact, in the later games both zook and warnado are voiced by Fred Tatasciore

How do you even set up a warp anyways?? I can never do it no matter what I do?? Can someone please tell me or send a vid on how to do it please

you put player 2 on the portal and move to where you want to save the coordinates and take p2 off of the portal. Then when you want to warp, you take player 1 off of the portal press A with the second remote, press b with the first remote, and put a skylander back on the portal. Then a warp should have happened. I hope this helps

2:18 How he can have 34 skylanders ? There are just 32 skylanders on this game, no ?

There’s four legendary skylanders and a dark skylander, from what I know of. Bash, Spyro and Trigger Happy were in a triple pack and Chop Chop was a separate purchase. Dark Spyro comes from the 3DS starter pack. -if im missing any, sorry.

@@ContraryASMR Oh dang, I had no clue. I'm assuming it was pretty rare then given I've been involved since the release of SA and collected every other ingame skylander except dark spyro.

@@fraggnum__9660 The Gold Trim one is rare IIRC, but the Silver one that came with 3DS was released like a normal figure.
