the thing is this isnt the 1st time btk has done this cause in the m3 qualifier their midlanerr was actually huy and they replace huy in m3(huys not listed as a sub in m3) with Zia and zia actually lost to btk in the m3 qualifier finals and the more i guess, messed up thing is that apple was on the same thing as zia that at time so she has seen btk doing this 1st hand and it did work out for them before so theres no guarantee it cant work again only time will tell

It had happen a lot already. In M3, Zia wasn't in BTK but in Ackerman with Nicholette but the main mage from BTK couldn't go because too young or visa issue so they asked Zia to replace him for M3. Promise that replaced Ureshii in OP last year for grand finals. They will not take a random that never do well in live scene. But they had Victor, i'm sure he could do well too in mage but maybe he doesn't feel it...
