People are saying that Ally and other ASMRtists don't deserve the money they are paid for their videos, but honestly I think they deserve every penny. Definately more than famous KZbinrs like PewDiePie! ASMR helps people with mental illnesses, and to some people is a replacement to sleeping pills. What they do is more important to me than anything on KZbin. So I'm saying thank you, as ASMR really has changed my life.

Woah I don't think that's fair to call out pewdiepie he puts heaps of effort into his channel like he said in one of his videos it takes him about 2hours to edit one video he also has to record the footage before he can edit it which would take anywhere from an hour to 2 hours depending on what game he's playing and then he has to upload and process it and make a unique thumbnail which would take another hour and that's 4 hours for 1 video so times that by 2 and that's like 8 hours and he does that everyday he dosent have weekends off so he deffinatley deserves to be were he is just as much as ally does.

consider using f/11 to f/16 for your aperture, 1/30 shutter speed and increasing your lighting to compensate for the smaller aperture. this will allow you to move in and out in a small area as you are in this video while staying in focus. also consider investing in a small prime lens with a depth of field scale on the barrel. canon has a great little 40mm pancake that is designed for video. sharp, cheap and manual focus i love your videos, but often the out of focus many asmr end up with until they master their gear can break my immersion :)

I’m a professional special fx makeup artist. Every time I use PAX paint on a stippling sponge for painting prosthetics, it makes the most tingle inducing squishy noise. It’s one of my favorite parts of what I do. Special fx makeup can take hours to apply so usually actors in my chair end up falling asleep. I think maybe they’re experiencing ASMR from it.

thank you for staying dedicated to the length of this clip! something i've noticed as a ASMR junkie is that when there's a mix of clips in a playlist, the volumes and fuzzy microphone noise vary between them which sometimes disrupts the flow of relaxing. I love the long clips so I don't have to re-adapt to a new noise environment as often. I found tingles aplenty in this video, and it was hard not to smile a bit when you said "try not to laugh" while applying the makeup. It kind of made me realize that FX artists have to sort of be caregiver types in their own right, making sure their subjects are relatively comfortable as possible while enduring long sittings.
