Me too. I just ordered a FX Pantera but I'm worried about the shot count and that I made a mistake. I keep hearing that the shot count is low on the Panthera. When looked at the FX spec sheet it said that with a 600 mm barrel, 22 caliber, using hybrid slugs at 900 FPS you get 80 shots. Are they telling the truth? I'm going to be shooting 32 grain, 34 grain and 36 grain Javelin Patriots. What would the shot count be with a 34 grain as an example? Mike

@surreallife777 Mike, The shot count on the Panthera is as good (or a bit better because of the high-flow valve) as any PCP with a 300cc tank at 250 bar. It's a PRS rifle and tuned for competition (high velocity with heavy slugs), the shot count (15 ish) is adequate for that duty. Tuned to tamer levels gains shot count. I bought my Panthera for shooting mid weight (30-34g) slugs at a moderate (100 yard) range, so I'm not pushing the performance. That being said, I can't give you a shot count as I mounted a second bottle on mine and have never bothered to check. I like the Panthera, nice rifle. Shoots well and is very consistent. Cheers!

Impressive results. The .7L bottle for me looks like a natural choice, I have a similar one on my LCS sk19.... these bottles can be filled up to 300bar (tested to 500), the question now is if the panthera regulator can handle this kind of pressure. Having 2 bottles one can assume that a future upgrade could be the second smaller bottle to act as an en larged plenum instead of the shroud barreled one. I would love to see shots at 250yrds with 40gr slugs, normal Vs reversed pointed, Teflon lubed.... I have the feeling that long slugs will fly better reversed shot..

Hey Rick! I wish you would share the tune. Also, is it running the standard 4mm hammer weight or the 8mm? I cannot get my 500mm 30 Panthera to shoot hybrids at ALL. It's stacking pellets, but HORRIBLE with hybrids. Really really frustrating. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share the tune sir.

The faster the better for me with the Hybrids I had them at 995 fps and 168 on the reg I was totally maxed out not sure on the hammer weight .

@@shooter1721 Got it shooting SWEET with hybrids now. Installed the front bottle, the 8mm hammer weight. Cranked the reg up to 170 and I'm getting 974 fps and a standard deviation of only 2.7 fps!!! Grouping GREAT with hybrid slugs now!

Hey Rick, this is Moe. I got a panthera 500 with 2 bottle one is a 300 marksman the next one I put on is from my impact M3 2880 cc I think that feels to 250. question the gauge read 300 bar can I put more ear into my gun because of the two bottle so far the two would give me 650 worth of air can I put more air into the tank since the gauge is 300 can I put more inside to equal it off to 650

Since the 700 cc bottle is so long I believe it’s the bottle flexing . I will move the saber tactical bottle clamp back and see what happens

Huma has a reinforced bottle adapter as the standard one only has 3 or 4 threads holding it, which they also state they worry about with regards to the additional stresses from bipods etc.

Depends on your grip. If your shooting thumb forward you wont even notice its there. It hasnt been an issue for me at all
