Vampire hypnosis does not work against government workers, as their souls are already dead inside. We do know that it works against elected officials (As Nandor was able to hypnotize members of the Local Council) but New York Judges are appointed, so I assume that they operate under the same rules as other government workers.

I need more Americans to know that this is exactly how all barristers in the UK dress when in court. Even small local matters like this
@aryssamansfield9735Ай бұрын
@Bloke-98 I'm in law school in America and we all roled our eyes when a judge actually wore her robe for a mock trial. If anyone tried to wear a real wig in court over here we'd lose our minds. I did know that yall still wear wigs over there but I refuse to internalize it. I am just annoyed I have to wear pantyhose sometimes.
@ricky6608Ай бұрын
@@aryssamansfield9735 it’s less common these days they will usually only wear robes and wigs for trials/appeals in superior courts, never for interlocutory proceedings or mentions. Solicitors also don’t wear wigs, it’s only barristers. I actually think they look kinda sick lol

@ricky6608 I can't disagree that they look very official. I would crack up every time I spoke to the judge though. When you watch American shows is it weird that our judges don't have wigs or is it common knowledge that we don't?
