You can ignore the part at the beginning where he's inserting the T nuts. I had a hard time following this but if you just start at the part where he's screwing the frame together he will show you when to put nuts in.

I am assembling this kit right now. I can tell you that since the vrod isn't cut square, its really difficult to square the y-axis without stressing the frame. The direct screw in method versus the tnut/bracket method introduces this torque. This causes simlar issues with the Z frame installation, in which the accuracy of the screw holes and unsquareness of the vrod cuts torques the frame. This is the part that Fysetc really needed to get right, since the strength/square rigidity of the bear frame is the reason why ppl would get it. I assume they were trying to save fastener/bracket costs by using a direct screw method -- I'm not sold on it yet. Y-frame is sturdy, and the smooth rods float on the printed parts, so getting the y-axis sturdy is the most critical. Utilize the horizontal Z Vrod as a squaring spacer when lining up they-frame before tightening each end. As for the Z frame. Assemble the Z vertical and horizontal vrod before attaching to the y frame. Use a Z-helper printed part for accuracy against the y frame when tightening the screws. I'm not very happy with the lack of brackets for the zframe to yframe connection. I'll buy the brackets, tnuts, and screws to assemble the z to y connection more stably then.

Hello, I just purchased this kit and really just want to make sure all the parts are going to be included. Did you have any issues with missing screws, nuts, etc...?

Currently waiting their response I got sent the wrong v rod this kit isn’t grade a quality by any means.. actually quite poor quality a lot of the tapped ends are not tapped long enough

@@buckskinllamagaming6286 agreed. If i build another 🐻, it will be using gregsaun's github parts list and sourcing products myself. Certain parts can be lower quality... just not frame, bed, smooth rods, bearings.... well you get the picture. Buying this kit, you'll need to replace too many parts with better ones

Fantastic advice pal!! I own a traditional Bear frame on my old mk2s. I'll swap them out as my old frame is dead square.

Additionally, if you are using newer Bear v2.1 printed Y Motor and y Idler parts, additional tnuts will need to be slid into the y frame before assembly on the front and back vrod.

I can do what I want. Facebook, Aliexpress, Homepage, Forum of Fysetc.... I don´t get any response regarding to my order!!! I ordered from Spain (will be shipped from Spain) and actually it should be shipped out normally (Chinese holidays). NOTHING AT ALL! No answers, no response, no nothing!

Just received and opened my kit, and I'm not impressed. I now realize ( I should have known better ) why the kit is selling dirt cheap, because that's what all the parts look like, dirt cheap.

@@shotbyarian I had a rather long and detailed response typed out explaining everything to you, but I dropped the keyboard ( kids do the funniest things ) and I don't have the courage to start over again and type it all out. Let's just say that with the poor quality and lack of instructions ( video or otherwise ) it's more of a puzzle then a kit printer.

@@shotbyarian I don't know what he got, but mine is fine. True because I have ocd, I filed the extrusion down to be square and even bought those corner brackets. But till now everthing else looks fine. What I found out, the bearings (YTP) are excellent but I highly recommend using h6 instead of g6 linear rods.

@@shotbyarian only on certain parts. Prusa has no instructions on a BEAR frame.
