Hi!! One question, When installing the 15 sprocket, is the speed of the odometer the same or does it now have an error and read more? thank you
@dylanschwerdtfeger61983 ай бұрын
@@AEROXMAKEADA get a speedo healer. Set up is not difficult, and it's very accurate even at higher speeds. I'm basing this off the speed traps as I pass by looking at what the speed reads on both. None the less its a nice product. Actually gonna change sprockets in my FZ09 again lol. Went from stock to 17/43 and now going totally opposite end at 15/47.

@oldhead_3 жыл бұрын
Heck yeah..just dig watching that mt09 get it..how’s the pull in 4th and 5th gears for passing? I saw one vid where guy tried to pass and the stock 09 didn’t show upper end torque..nice wrap too
@DirtyHammmer3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! With the sprocket 4th and 5th gear seem to hold torque through the rev range better, the gears are a tad shorter and it makes passing easier. A full exhaust and tune helps too
@oldhead_3 жыл бұрын
@@DirtyHammmer appreciate the info..that may be the best solution then..seen some reviews that say it doesn’t have enough high gear torque for freeway passing..ride safe out there wheelie man!
@bleh83103 жыл бұрын
There's definitely enough pull to pass at highway speeds, even stock. If you're trying want to hit 100 just to pass get a 1000. Also the stock ECUs limit the power in 5th and 6th so a flash helps it even more. Besides, I choose to downshift and let the full exhaust roar to pass. More fun than a liter bike that you never need to shift on

The POP's on my 2018 MT09 I run 91 gas with octane booster and it tends to POP more. Did your bike OEM have the 16T rubber or no rubber and the 15t you put on have rubber or no rubber and did that feel or sound different if no rubber. Now you can get a 15t with or with out rubber. The 2018 OEM comes with rubber. RIDE SAFE

Love it. I changed it at 1000km in from new, and I’ve done 32,000 with the 15T front sprocket since then. You just got to be prepared for surprise power wheelies in A mode though. Done them in gears 1-5 so far. The ones that have got my most by surprise is when using the quick shifter when changing gears under full throttle
