I was there. It was the experience of a lifetime! Felt very safe even though we were way up...BTW they're the best seats in the house. The sound was exceptional and directional. Pretty amazing. This was my 3rd time seeing Phish. Saw them all 4-nights. Every night was out of this world. Insane visuals.

Everybody there loved it. This is a bucket list venue. #1 with a distant second. You can't possibly put it in perspective on a phone or even a big screen tv. It's next next next level. The best live sound I've heard, seeing phish since 12/30/95.

best way to describe the sound for me was like if you were wearing a helmet with personalized speakers. I could hear chompers around me occasionally while at the same time sounding like Trey was singing right in my ear. Was there first night with the rest of the pioneers which will always have a special place for those of us lucky enough to have attended. In the 100s I didn’t get to fully experience the enormity of the sphere, however, the electricity of the crowd on the floor was a big part of the experience for me personally. Got me thinking a lot of deeper thoughts of who we are as a species and our place in time in this crazy, crazy world. I too am grateful everyone made it out with no serious injuries. Was my biggest fear going in. Only thing to fear is fear itself I guess. Surrender to the flow! We miss you Harris. You will always be there with us in spirit my friend🎉❤✌️

I was there, AND I watched your recaps! It was not that steep, even empty. A little steep walking down the stairs. I drove to Quebec City to see Pearl Jam at the Videotron, and it felt steeper there. I think N2 #1, N3 ranked #4. My personal favorite was N1. It was either the excitement of it being the first on or how much I love seeing the northern lights (which I've seen in real life twice). I live in Vermont, so that gave extra sweetness to the Farmhouse visuals. Also the Mike's > *Lifeboy* > Weekapaug really hit the crowd in the feels. Friday, Caspian with the Atlantis visuals was epic and of course YEM unified the positive vibes in there. I think it you relisten or rewatch N1, you'll find it powerful, highly underrated. That's my take. Great posts... Boom!

Twist, Caspian, Pillow Jets, Theme and First tube were my favorite visuals. The audio on N1 was a little sus but the rest of the run the audio was spectacular! Best sound I've heard probably ever. I only heard about one person getting hurt. It was N3, a man fell 3 rows forward AFTER the show. Maybe 20ish min after the lights came up. I heard the Sphere staff say they didn't know how he was still alive. But he was just sitting there, getting his space together after his fall. And yeah, you're right, when it's empty, it's steep af. But with people there, it's not that bad.

I will say, while tripping up in the 2nd to last row in the 400s, there were a few moments where I experienced sensations of vertigo, and even nausea. But while rolling the next night, I danced my ass off. It was very danceable up there. The whole section was bouncing up and down during 2001. Any ways love your recaps as always, congratulations on getting married!

As a recent convert to this band I really appreciate your breakdowns and thoughts on the show and band. I went to my first show on June 2 2022 and the 4/20 show at the Sphere was as my 27th. That place is absolutely stunning and even though I don’t have the long history like some of you I know n amazing show when I see one. That place was built for them and it’s only going to get better in the coming years! I hope everyone here wins the lottery next year and can experience that incredible venue. Really sad I missed the Sunday show but kids are awesome until you have to take care of them 😂. Love your content!

I sat 4 nights in section 306 dead center seat 9. I absolutely Gurantee your right about 4,2, 3, 1 The light and dwd was insane. Piper was insane. All of Sunday was vicious. Friday was incredible and somehow Sunday peeked that. Monday was disjointed and all over, no progress in the jam, and Saturday was just a sleeper.

I was there all 4 nights and 2001 was video of the lights in real time. So they had a camera shot of the lights, added a kaleidoscope effect to it and that's what was on the screen for that song. CK always does the same thing for 2001 and feels that was his moment in these 4 shows because unlike most other songs (even ones he has cued out) things were much more low-key with the lights. It seemed to me CK was coming at the lighting from a very different angle. They had their normal moving lights there but he hardly used gobos (shapes) with them. Hardly strobed them, hardly went to white. Used things very sparingly and also did not hit his normal "go-to" hits on most songs and mostly stayed calm with the lighting. The way the sphere is set up is more of a "theater" lighting setup with front light coming from balconies. It was CK5 but in a tamer more relaxed version and I think that was the idea for just the Sphere. Remember Tom Petty's Daughter saying Tom loved the Wilburys because he did not have to be a frontman and could just play with other people? I feel that was maybe CK's attitude (have no clue) but maybe it was nice for him to not have to carry all the visuals for these 4 shows. Know he hates doing the light jam on YEM and so this time he knew he could sit back, no lights and let the dog lick away.

I was at the Friday and Sunday show and they were incredible the sound was very sharp and some of the clearest phish I’ve ever heard. Also we went back to the hotel after the show and streamed your review before hitting the casinos both nights. Congratulations on the wedding!!

the ballads really benefitted from the sound and presentation. sound issues and mixing were an issue this run, with the sound improving each ensuing show. night 4 was the best sounding show. Note that the Tweeprise lacked the usual Mike bass bomb…. things that will likely improve by their next visit. Musically, the band was absolutely flying right out the gate. The hard start to every show, from pre-recorded grooves to the downbeat, was hot. Many songs tightened up and improved upon for this one, with more complete choreography even for the YEM trampoline segment. Nonetheless, this was a huge step forward for Phish, and in my opinion, lived up to the hype. Couch tour here was awesome. Being there must have been over the top. Congratulations on your wedding day!!! Best of luck to you!

I saw 2 U2 shows there before I went to Phish and I was blown away by the sound at the U2 shows. Phish ramped it up with use of the sound in there. After the Sphere all other venues pale in comparison of course. Also loved the way Phish used the haptics in the seats very well. Because of that people were sitting quite a bit around me for a few songs. That Down with Disease was definitely worth the flight!

Love it man. Looking forward to the whiteboard review of your wedding. I was there Friday and Saturday night and still appreciate hearing your review. Overall, I really loved the experience, I definitely wouldn’t want all Phish shows to be there. Sometimes the visuals are detracting from the music and I needed to refocus myself into the groove. Friday night I was in section 109 row six just above the floor and the sound seemed wonky to me - particularly during gin I was looking at Trey playing his guitar, but heard zero guitar. The next night I was in the Venetian suite, presumably the best spot in the house and the sound was superb. Both nights the sound was coming from different places like you’d hear some Paige over your left shoulder and then some Trey over your right shoulder, it’s certainly a new experience and some circular effects that are pretty cool. I’m not sure if the sound progressively improved over the nights or if and how much dependent on location in the venue. As far as theme, it’s still a bit of a mystery - nothing is making total sense. yes, it doesn’t matter, but I am going with five elements. Five elements/4 shows? Yes.. makes most sense re set list (but little other sense) : Thursday: earth Friday: water Saturday: fire & air Sunday: ether I may be biased as I actually gave Trey a book at the end of the show on Sunday night Mexico that is titled: the five elements of sacred sound ceremonies. :)

With you on Taste as best visuals. I think Pillow Jets, Ether Edge and especially Hey Stranger all did well for themselves this run. You can tell what they recorded i.e. Oblivion, Mike had a more defined bassline and Page seemed to lock in on something more composed than last summer's versions. Dude, come to Deer Creek! Also, I ALWAYS check out your recaps when I'm on the road haha it's become a late night campfire ritual...sitting around listening to how wrong or right you were haha

I sat in 3 different spots for my 3 shows and I’ll say there isn’t a bad seat in the house in terms of sound. As a matter of fact I had obstructed view seats in 106 for N2 and that was the best sound I’ve heard in my life. I would highly recommend level 300-400 clear view for at least one show but if money is an issue the obstructed view rocks as well!

As far as being steep, I took my seat as late as possible with my old man bladder. When I was in 409, it definitely felt steep and I almost fell forward a couple times dancing. I saw 2 guys getting wheeled out in wheelchairs night 2, but that was most likely substance induced.

I was at the first show. It was the best live Phish experience in the 10 shows I’ve experienced. That night was the best setlist I’ve ever seen. I mean I got 5 first time songs head live. I was hoping to go next night but the tix never came through. Talk about disappointment!

Was the theme the 4 phases of matter? With increasing energy you get Solid, Liquid, Gas then Plasma. Opening with Plasma on N4 feels like it makes this the theme.
