I tried both, and the flicker build is nuts. You almost become unkillable late game if the enemy doesn't have enough cc

as of this moment in time the best build for voli is going to be the ROA flickerblades setup so you can just do that 100% of the time and be good.

Imo the flickerblade build is just better in general but the other build is played quite a lot as well by people.

@@FzFrost haha yes it's true. It does feel good to be able to perma tank it and do it. Unfortunately your team probanly wouldnt do anything meaningfull in the time it takes so not worth it ofcourse

I used to be a volibear main, but stopped because being a mostly tank build just isn't good in low elo. You fall off after 20 minutes, can be easily kited and your team doesn't know how to play around your ult, or capitalise on any picks you make. Stopped playing voli, and started playing master yi, and it's been much more fun. Dropped 20 and 1 on my first yi game

Fair enough Yi is better at carrying like that but I will say that the ROA flickerblades build does allow voli to be much stronger after those 20 mins to the point where you can still do very well.
