The jacket looks absolutely incredible! If you like your jackets to fit like a glove, this looks to be the perfect size. If not, a size up would be best. These jackets look extremely accurate to the originals.

Nice G1, suits you and the fit is perfect. I’ve just got one of their A2s and I must say it’s a pretty good reproduction of the Bronco contract. For the money you can’t go wrong really! I’ve had A2s from aero and Eastman so I know quality!

Please tell me more! I've been lusting after an Eastman or Bill Kelso A2 for a long time. How does the Avi A2 compare? The price is very tempting. Would you recommend saving up for one of the more expensive jackets or going with the Avi?

For those that are interested, I recently purchased one of their jackets, the M422a. For those that are looking for an extremely accurate, affordable flight jacket patterned after an original, AVI jackets are for you. This looks and fits like an original WW2 flight jacket not a modern representation. Because of this, you need to size up. I am 6ft tall 185 lbs, I normally wear a size 40/42, so I ordered a size 42. It fit much smaller than all my other 42's. It fit more like a size 40 so I had to reorder a size 44. This one fit perfectly. The jackets are made in Pakistan but don't let that turn you off. The jackets are very well made and this is of course how they achieve their cost savings. Remember, this is not a $1000 plus jacket, this is an ~ $300 jacket. My only complaint about the jacket is the way they ship them. As you can see from the video, they ship them in a bag instead of a box. Because of this, the jackets are very wrinkled when they arrive. For those of you like me that want their brand new jacket to look perfect and pristine when it arrives, forget it! I've contacted the company and complained about this, telling them that they need to ship their jackets neatly folded once in a nice large sturdy box like most other companies due but I don't know if they will start doing it. It's really too bad. I had planned on buying more of their jackets but now I'm not sure. Maybe you will have better luck.

dude, i just landed on your channel looking for a jacket. I liked the g1 of this video. Until now I had in mind a texaco fender redskins in cowhide. What do you think of that type of leather for these jackets? What is leather is better...cow or goat? Do you know this jacket company?

Five star leather was subcontractor for avi. So it's 99 procent this jacket is made in Azerbaijan, Kazachstan or other Tajikistan...Forget about conscious choice. At the end it's 21st century....

@@getbornxcv not sure why I would be conscious about buying animal skins. But I own Five Star Leather Jacket, pretty good, chemical smell is not bad at all. I’ve seen pictures of Avi and they look pretty similar almost like they were made in the same place. But Five Star has my purchase due to their large variety of customization. I saw a forum on a direct comparison between the two tho if you’re interested.

I'm 6' 185 lbs and I ordered a size 42. It is a very tight fitting jacket. I kept it but it is really too tight. I ordered another size 44 but it has not arrived yet. If you like your jackets to be worn with a t shirt and fit like a glove, go with the size 42. If not, I would go with the 44. These are true military cut jackets from the 1940's. Men were a lot smaller back then.

Mine was sent out via Post Nord and it took 10 days. Arrived with no problems. I recently ordered another jacket that they are shipping via DHL. Have not received that one yet. You may want to contact them before purchase to discuss shipping.

It's made in Pakistan. Don't let that turn you off though. These are very well made jackets and the patterns are supposedly cut from original jackets. They're sized for people in the 1940's so size up if you buy one. They look identical to real vintage military jackets.
