This mv is literally genius anf he got a lot of metaphors, as u can see he's mocking media by showing how the reporters are blind but still writing fake articles about the idols and the black paint covering his face and body are the tears of the masks

Just to add more context about the blind reporters scene, the whole scene depicts the 'The Last Supper' painting by Leonardo da Vinci. GD is sitting in the middle, which means he positions himself as Jesus (aka some kind of a leader). He's being surrounded by blind reporters which can be depicted as Jesus's followers/disciples, insinuating that wherever GD goes, reporters will always follow him. Well, he's not wrong tho 🤣👑

It's peaceminusone (his clothing brand) and as you can see, it's the logo of peace, but it's missing a line, hence why it's peaceminusone, also the logo looks like GD, and that one line pointed to the number 8 on a clock 🕗, referring to his lucky number because he was born in 18-08-88. GD has a song called middle fingers up, and a part of the lyrics goes "peaceminusone it's middle fingers up" cause basically when u made a peace ✌️ sign with your hand, minus the one ☝️, only your middle finger would be left (✌️-☝️=🖕) He's such a genius 🙃

To an outsider this MV mai look like a bunch of gibberish for shock value but those who follow his life and career can appreciate the symbolism in it. At first he is sitting in a booth, looking annoyed, waiting to sell tickets while ppl try to force their way thru. That's his view on his life as a celebrity. Sure he is cooking money but the media is blind, doesn't see the real him. Everyone takes shots at him. His first solo album at first got a plagiarism controversy, it was a huge scandal, he was harassed for years, there was graffiti on the streets with insults towards him and they went as far as to make a petition for him to commit suicide. The album's promo included a white mask modeled after his face. So at the end we can see that Heartbreaker mask (his younger self) cry black tears and from those tears, from that pain, a dark creature is born, one that is cynical and snarling. But he doesn't remain like this, he sheds his skin, throws that stone and at the end emerges as the lider of the revolution.

Musa so many ppl misunderstanding with his black face in this MV they see it as a reason GD is racist, so I need to put some explain for this scene of the video : he mask is removed to reveal that G-Dragon is literally dripping in these black tears. His entire suit is black. He stands in a puddle of the inky tears. But when we see his face we know that he isn’t crying. If anything, he looks menacing and near demonic. This is the point where everything builds up-love, music, fans, culture, money, performance, criticism, media-and we see the disparity between the person he’s supposed to be and the person that’s hidden beneath it. It all pools together in one black mess. This is the moment of reconciliation. This is the moment he knows what’s coming after he throws the rock. This monstrous grimace he gives is a knowing smile. And he destroys the old white mask That his own face is a symbol of his previous self, a symbol of fame and the face that the media has made of him n want of him In the hole we see a G-Dragon reborn. His skin is pale but flawless, like a newborn. He wears the red of revolution and flags fly triumphantly behind him. After his death, he’s been resurrected. In his eyes, we see determination The screen flashes at the end of the video, as if a broadcast has been interrupted, and then we see his peace symbol. An ironic end to a video that claimed that the revolution would not be televised
