this song was released in 2012 and Rosé was just a trainee for like 2 months at that time, GD heard her voice while he was just passing by the practice rooms and he really liked her voice so he asked YG(the boss) that he wanted her to be part of one of his song from his upcoming album called ONE OF A KIND, then the collab happened no one knew who the female vocalist was until Rosé's debut and during the initial released of this song GD only mentioned that the female vocalist is a promising YG trainee for an upcoming YG girl group and told everyone to wait for it.. BTW he also has a song with Jennie too called BLACK ....

@@fzfxfcf it's the story of how he got to know her...During that time only few fans/people know about this specially those who have been following YG inside and out since the beginning, it's more like insider news/story just like we know how 2NE1 disbanded and who lead the disbandment move.. Many fans doesn't know the real thing so they keep blaming YG but the real culprit wasn't YG, in fact YG and Sean were the only one who were against the disbandment..

Both Rose' and Jennie were (prominently) featured in G Dragon songs while in training. It appeared that all of them were done with relative innocence. Like we have this girl who can kinda sing a little. Not realizing that what you might get is possibly one of the most beautiful and iconic voices of this generation.
