@@DanDanSer while I don't know about King Kong, Godzilla isn't really a character at least at first. Godzilla is basically unstoppable nature but with a body. He was created as a metaphor for the atomic bombing in Japan and nuclear weaponry. It wasn't really till down the line of a bunch of Godzilla sequels, vs films, variations and role switching that Godzilla went from a force of nature to big monster that is sometimes good guy sometimes bad guy. even then in Japan, Godzilla still doesn't have a defined personality, just big monster that goes fight big monsters or wreaks stuff subconsciously. He is depicted a lot of the time to be a sympathetic creature, but that's is really it.

So I just saw this movie again at my local amc theater well me and my cousin did no joke we had a fun time even though we had seen it a lot before it was so awesome to experience this film on a movie theater screen again definitely a fun time in my life

This was the film that we all needed with COVID still going on at the time. Saw this opening weekend and man it felt good to be back in the theater seeing the 2 most iconic movie monsters going toe to toe on the big screen and it did not disappoint! This was like watching a prized title fight with both fighters using every tool, skill in their arsenal to win. Absolutely epic!

I grew up with Both of these Awesome Titans, watching all of their Movies from the original 1933 Fay Ray 's King Kong with the stop motion animation, to the original 1954 Godzilla. A lot of people don't realize it, but these two franchises influenced so much of the modern cinema we have today. Thoroughly enjoyed Legendary 's take on these Titans of Cinema

As grateful as I am for a "big budget hollywood effects" Godzilla film being made.... I wish this one had the tone and "weight" that Goji '14 had... it has the action figures in action feel to it, the level of destruction is massive in this scene but completely disconnected from everything... what I would give to see suit animation and miniature work done to current hollywood standards....

The human focused action scenes in g14 was a issue for fans though, when fans think of kaiju fights we think of the fights focusing on the kaiju like this. Not constant cutaways every 1 minute for the sake of a human perspective

What a back and forth legendary battle. King Kong should have pounced on Godzilla after that hit. It was a battle of respect between 2 Kings. The truth is when Kong put Godzilla down the KOTM got up. When Godzilla put Kong down he tried but couldn't get up giving Godzilla a win. History is 1-1. This will always be the fight of all fights. Godzilla wins the fight and Kong the film. Kong put up a better fight at sea than Ghidorah did. What a horrible situation for Kong to be in. Is surviving out at sea considered a loss? Godzilla was tricked and would come back and Kong was gone according to the novel.

There is no round 3 only there's is round 1 when Godzilla was knock down by the axe and Kong gets back up and think that he won but Godzilla didn't give up and round 2 and then he went on beastmode on Kong and he was defeated and Mechagodzilla rise and round one Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla red vs blue when Godzilla was down and he tries the signature move that Godzilla used they call th Kiss of death that he did the female muto on the final battle on Godzilla 2014 that is what Mechagodzilla was about to do on him but Kong was back and he decided to help Godzilla because jia told Kong that he was not his enemy and they fought together against Mechagodzilla
