Wow. A Masterful ballet of fire. A true delight to watch. I wish I had been there to witness this performance in person. Congratulations!

The fire looks so nice with the white core and the purple hue. after doing so much poi and learning so many moves and u make everything look way more elegant than me.

WOW! I like your changing of planes very much and the final moves were awesome!

Wow, such an amazing response. Thank you all for your kind words and ffor taking the time to really comment on what you saw and what you felt. This was the first of hopefully many choreographies that I will write and it's so uplifting to have such positive feedback from my first attempt. More to come, G.
@tubularG2 жыл бұрын
Turned out this was the best I ever wrote. so subsequent attempts were nowhere near as good. This one did take me 3 months to write though so maybe if I put a year into the next one I might be able to come up with something to challenge this one.

@@tubularG I don’t think another piece has ever influenced and inspired my spinning as much as this. I still come back to watch.

@@tubularG For what it's worth, I've been coming back to watch this since 2015. Eight years of immersion in poi now and still the best fire performance I've ever seen.

This is my favorite choreographed poi videos, just amazing! good job.

i love the contrast -- use of big and small movements, change of speed, variation of pace throughout, the way you drew in the crowd. the precision (obviously) is inspiring beyond belief. I bow to you G. Well done. This is perhaps my new favorite solo poi set!

I really like his style, it's so graceful and fluid. Each move is like part of the next. I love it.

You are awesomeness, not only spinning wise! Big smiles and happiness!

Seconding the white gas guess. It doesn't seem smokey so probably not kero. If it lasted longer it might have been a lamp fuel/white gas blend, but since it has about a 3min 30sec burn it's probably just white gas. If it looked like bigger fire than you're used to seeing/using, perhaps it's because the weave of the wicks is different and/or the size. It looks fairly standard to me.

The best poi performance ever! It looks like the poi are part of your body! *****!
@tubularG13 жыл бұрын
@cycloidpoi My advise is get comfortable with everything you can do. When you body is no longer straining to create the move you are free to explore movement. When your mind is no longer straining you are free to explore connections.
