@@matteosisino2560 you are right sir and I’m a fool. A silly slip that I hoped only the smartest of folks would pick up on, which you did… ooops. Mouser make guns for the German army but I did not know that the 98k was around then. Thank you for pointing out my mistake and for taking the time to watch and comment. 👍

It’s a funny gun. I love the look of it and the way it feels. Loading it is part of using the gun as well as watching them fly all over the floor. But for me the sights are terrible and really hard to use. Hope you’re good bud. You’re in my gameplay video that should come out this weekend. 👍

Is the bolt zamak made? Is the cocking piece durable or does it get scratched away by the firing pin after a few couples of shot? Thanks for your work!
@AndrewSkipp
@AndrewSkipp 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and for the comments. I think the bolt is some kind of pot metal. It’s to light to be anything harder. Yes there are scratches on the bolt but this is due to some heavy ware by me. Mainly to the sides of the bolt. Not sure it’s from the firing pin more from the chambering or cocking. The bolt is a little loose when you draw it back. That said I think it’s expected and not noticeable when the bolt is in the forward position. Do you have one? If not get one. Really fun to shoot.(not the best for gameplay). 👍

@AndrewSkipp
@AndrewSkipp Жыл бұрын
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. I do really like the older guns. Guess it’s because of my age💀🙀… I agree with you. It’s a let down when you shoot it as there is no real sound or recoil. I also think the bolt is a little loose when it’s drawn back. That said I like in the UK sand this is the best we are aloud to own. I have to say that I think it’s one of the best looking guns in my collection. Do you have one or shot the real thing?

@@AndrewSkipp yes I myself love ww2 replicas. Do you also use bb or pellet versions? There is a diana pcp version out but the bolt isn't well replicated being a pcp. I have a few replicas myself inc ghk ak74u and mp5...few bb pistols...can't have enough in your collection can you 😀

@@idontknowyou876 I’ll look it up. This is the problem. Im not obsessed by guns but I really like the way they look and feel. I love my m14 socom. It’s cheep and not wood but I just love it. @@idontknowyou876 by the way the ghk ak74u is on my must have list. Im very jealous as that’s a bit of kit. I mainly do Airsoft as I play as often as I can so I feel justified spending vast amounts of cash on the guns knowing I will use them…. Maybe. Not so many BB guns as I’m not such a fan of the mags. I would buy every one if I had the funds….. I have a problem after all! 🙀

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I got the mount on Amazon and yes if fits but it’s a bit tight. That said you can’t run a scope without it. It’s hard to find a scope that fits to the period without making the gun look silly. I will make a follow up video once I’m happy with all the kit. Hoping to get a bit of game play too. Do you have an AK and if so which one? It’s nice not running an m4 like everyone else right. 👍

@@AndrewSkipp dear andrew thank you for your reply I ordered the same mount on Amazon in the past for my double bell shell eject kar98 k but sadly it never arrived now i know thanks. I mounted a picantiny mount below the rear side as solution. Pro it works and i have mounted a red dot with a quick release on it. And you can use your iron sights normal after taking the red dot of without remount and maybe re zeroing your iron. The bad thing ist of course your rifle looks not longer authentic but for me that’s okay. Great hopefully your second video comes soon. Best regards

I will send you a message when I do the new video. 😀

Mines the other way. It’s really tight and hard to move. I got it in the video but I was worried it would break when I forced it. Strange… What do you think of the gun. I really like mine. It’s hard to see down the sights and the power is a bit low with the shells that come with the gun. It’s worth getting the higher powered shells in my option. 👍
