To update on the replacement spring for the lever indents/ball bearing - The spring I've replaced it with is weak enough that the lever itself will fall out of place with even just a tiny bit of pressure, I would recommend you use the stock spring in all circumstances.

I received this today and fitting took less than a minute. I already had the short stroke lever from Airsoft World but it had no hard stop so I found myself having to slow down my reloads to avoid pushing passed the tappet plate. I was hoping this would fit the aftermarket short stroke lever I already had, but it doesn't. So I refitted the oem lever and these parts and it works a charm. No feeding issues, and there is a solid hard stop. I also added the mag release delete plates which was also simple and looks great, much better than a blank space with 4 open screw holes that I had from removing the entire release mechanism. 5 stars for this product

@@blusox78 appreciate the feedback! Its a such a shame the AW levers dont have anything to stop the overtravel into the tappet plate - unless you are careful its a time bomb before the tappet plate gets overstressed and snaps! Really glad you're happy with the product :)

Lovely bit of kit I will have to get my hands on those to short stroke. Please let me know what number is on the back of your nozzle if it's 2.2 2.7 or whatever. My 15" came with 2.2 and it's power was well under an AEG! Along with the front o ring broke very quickly. There is two on the nozzle and the front one of mine broke. I've ordered an aftermarket nozzle which allegedly adds 130 fps but we will see...

I need to know how this goes! I plan to hpa and run mine as a sniper but real concerned about its low FPS on red.. was expecting a bit more bite out the box considering it's not an aeg

@@DZSherpa mine is a 2.2 and Im getting 1.1j by shorteneing the barrel to a 285mm 6.02 - I have been looking into nozzles as a potential new product but that wont be some time yet, nozzle Orings are 6mm ID 8mm OD if you needed the spec :)

Great stuff LukeBBA! Been looking to get the LevAR15 for awhile now. Glad that you’ve provided parts for short stroking. Do you know what websites provide different CNC levers for airsoft? They look pretty cool tbh. Thanks for the content!

The only one I'm aware of (that are comercially available) are the TWI/Raptor ones, they are the OEM for the two black levers I showed photos of being released by AirsoftWorld UK - BUT these levers do not have a piece on the opposite side to prevent overtravel/tappet plate damage like my kit does (and many others) so be very cautious about using them.

@lukebba where can I get that mag release blank? Also how do I know if I have a v2 grip?

Its on my website as an additional item to the short stroke kit, or the 3d print file is on cults3d - to check youve got a V2 grip, vent the gas and punch out the 2 pins in the grip. Pull the gas resevoir out and shining a torch into the grip you should see a big hex head bolt there - if the area is flat/smooth around the bolt its a V1, V2s have these "veins" that are above, right, below and left of the hex bolt.

@@CapeBretonTrailerSailor Hi mate is it snapping where I suggested it would in the video (taller section of the short stroke piece)? It does require some rocking back and forth to get the lever into position - you absolutely have to push the nozzle/tappet plate into the rear position to get it in!

@@LukeBBA yes that’s where it snapped. It’s almost as if the raised bit is too tall, it’s seated and flush but even trying to rock the lever, I can see where it’s putting pressure and it’ll break. First one may have been a bad print because it sheered with barley any force.

@@kerimercin6893 Yes I've seen that one, it was uploaded before my design was finished and isn't mine. All the short stroke kits look similar, mine wasn't the first and it won't be the last :)
