'Queen Card' was the Title track of this latest album but that was the back half of the story. You might want to check out the front-end of that story, a Pre-Release Music Video called 'Allergy'. I think you will understand and even appreciate 'Queen Card' so much better. :)

Please check out their Heat ep when it drops. This song was the title track. I think Gidle is just so interesting. Like making "toxic" lyrics not so "toxic." Makes you think and see things from a different view. 💜

While I'd like to defend the lyrics because they didn't write this song, Soyeon's solo song "Psycho" makes this seem tame. From a musical perspective, I would say Soyeon's best is "Put it straight", and also the nightmare version which she changed the original in a really interesting way. Sadly it's a b- side, so no proper MV, though they did a performance video for the nightmare version

Actually they had a great Halloween choreo for the "Put It Straight" nightmare version, it was so good that it almost seems like an m/v for the song, just as the "My Bag" choreo seems like the m/v for that song. Maybe since it's coming up to Halloween season, they might check that out (Although the Queendom version is so good too).

Honestly, just a few bars of this and I have to say... it sounds so... generic. It just sort of makes a pop noise, but doesn't do anything or go anywhere, or do anything you don't expect. It's utterly devoid of human creative input outside of maybe vocals, but even then. Its like the 'songwriter' (AI?) found the 'Pad' setting on it's keyboard and just lazily let it run. Eeeeew!
