K/DA cheat sheet K/DA is a virtual kpop group consisting of League of Legends playable champions (promoting their in-game K/DA skin): Akali - Played by Soyeon of (G)I-DLE - You picked her out in this video, she's the rapper with the hat/facemask. Main Rapper Ahri - Played by Miyeon of (G)I-DLE - Again you picked her out, the cat girl with a bunch of tails. Main Vocal/Visual Eveylnn - Played by Madison Beer - In this video she's the one with the sick shades and driving the car. Main Vocal Kai'sa - Played by Jaira Burns - You saw her with the top-buns and floating things over her shoulder. Vocal/ Main Dancer They debuted in 2018 with this single POP/STARS They came back in 2020 with their comeback EP "All Out", besides the title track each subtrack focuses on a member: "More" - Title track M/V also featuring the Chinese speaking character Seraphine played by Lexie Liu "The Baddest" - Accompanied by an animated lyric video this song focuses on Akali. "Villain" - Accompanied by an animated "concept video" this song focuses on Evelynn "Drum go Dum" - Accompanied by a dance concept video this song focuses on Kai'sa. "I'll Show you" - Accompanied by an animated concept video this song focuses on Ahri and features TWICE Jihyo, Nayeon, Sana, Chaeyoung instead of Miyeon. The artists AND the characters performed (you'll have to see what that means) their title tracks live at the League of Legends world championships in 2018 and 2020 respectively. Akali/Soyeon's is also a member of the virtual group TRUE DAMAGE with other League characters which is a bit more western pop. They debuted with GIANTS in 2019 and have a similar live performance at the world championships. Fun Facts: -Both Evelynn and Akali have stealth capabilities in game. You can see this in the video with the day/night versions of these characters, like the Neon paint on Akali and Evelynn not being in the shadows. -You can see Ahri's in game Charm ability here when she throws the pink heart at the camera. -You can see Kai'sa's Void Assault ability with her quick movement and after image.

This song exploded in 2018 broke records and charted, Riot Games were not prepared for how big a splash this made. It was a video and song for their World Championship in Korea in 2018. It also markets the cosmetic skin line KDA (game characters Akali-Soyeon, Ahri-Miyeon, Kai'sa-Jaira Burns, and Evelyn-Madison Beer). They performed this live at the world finals and it's a banger performance. It did so well Riot asked Soyeon to come back and be apart of another group called True Damage song Giants. That did really well too so they brought Soyeon back again for another KDA song, and then asked Miyeon and Soyeon to come back again for a full EP lol.

This song made (G)I-DLE more known worldwide. League of Legends really liked KPOP and it shows with the skins (look or costumes), dances, animations, some quotes, etc. of the in-game characters. But this is the very first KPOP genre virtual band that they release and blew everyone! And amongst many popular bands that they can feature, they got I-DLE for this. It got millions of views in just a short amount of time. Honestly, this made me listen to (G)I-DLE (and they're the only KPOP band I listen to). Now some short info here: -This is a KPOP genre virtual band (others are TRUE DAMAGE (hiphop) and PENTAKILL (metal)). -This is an "alternate universe" that has its own, lore, and even the characters' stories. -Characters: -AKALI (rapper; by Soyeon) - Akali is Soyeon and Soyeon is Akali. They kinda have same personality. Fierce yet caring, scary yet sweet, can get serious when it's needed, not afraid to do what they think is good and right even going outside the box. -AHRI (fox lady; by Miyeon) - like Miyeon as well. Charming, sweet, caring, power vocals. In this universe atleast, 'coz in oiginal lore, she is a Kitsune or nine-tailed fox, which is kinda evil and eat souls. -EVELYNN (claw/lambo girl; by Madison Beer) - cars, DIVA, seductive. Not really far from her in-game lore where she attracts someone then intoxicate them. -KAI'SA ("winged" girl; by Jara Burns) - main dancer. passionate about her dreams and get them to come true. They also have LIVE Performance for this and I-DLEs were there. Soyeon was featured again last 2019 on another LoL band called TRUE DAMAGE for the song GIANTS, then again with LIVE Performance. Then for 2020, they have an album for the comeback called ALL OUT. "THE BADDEST" and "MORE" have the 2 I-DLEs, VILLAIN is...intoxicating, DRUM GO DUM is a bop, and I'LL SHOW YOU is vocal featuring TWICE. If you like Soyeon's rap flow, you SHOULD listen to THE BADDEST. Should you watch their vlogs soon, check out the ones for this. Back to I-DLE's songs, you should really listen to their side B tracks, I really like DOLLAR($$$), Maze, Hear Me, Luv U, Dahlia. I prefer the official audio on their page rather than line distributions since some were incorrect. They also have solo songs produced like JELLY, Idle Song, and The Loveless by Soyeon, and RELAY for the animated show of Running Man. You could also watch their vlogs and backstage convos with their crackheadness overflowing.

Aah, the song that was my gateway drug to kpop. Decided to let the recommendations from youtube keep going when lockdown work from home started. Led me to Blackpink based on this song, then Twice and (G)I-dle before I started actively exploring. Now the girlgrouop playlist is 397 videos. And the thumbnail for this video is still the thumbnail for the playlist. Btw, they did a live performance of this at the LoL world championships, it's pretty fun to see the actual singers dance with their virtual selves.

Just to correct your title, this is NOT a (G)I-DLE song. The song was written by French composer/producer Sebastien Najand for Riot Games in the U.S.. Two of the singers happen to be members of (G)I-DLE and the other two are American singers. K/DA is it's own entity.
