It's so insightful seeing the members involved in the creation and direction of their art. You can really see how their personalities gets woven into the final song. Minnie is such a sweet and supportive producer while still staying loyal to her vision of how the song should sound. You can really see how much care she put in making the members understand the overall idea of the song. Watching all their past recording behind videos you can see how Shuhua gets nervous and insecure in the recording booth sometimes and it was really touching to see how well she responded to Minnie's presence and hands on approach when she was having a hard time. Yuqi really surprised me by how collaborative and flexible she was while directing the girls. It's notable how open she was about making little changes here and there to adapt to the member's singing styles and even try out new ideas. She seemed to have a more abstract vision of the song, focusing more on the theme and overall feeling. In that sense I feel like she was still discovering and playing around with the little details and flows of the vocals during the recording, which resulted in a very interactive and fun experience to watch.
