Great video Dave. And sweet Enfield! Lest we forget!

Thanks, l am hoping to do a defiant review, but it is a bit larger scale of a video as you know! Pretty sure you were like only 1 of 10 in your city to get one Christmas morning 1987. 😎. Yes, we will always remember them. 🙏

@gijoedavec-straightfromthepit wow, I didn't know that. It's a fantastic playset!

Nice work on the bearing those can be a serious PITA, I've bloodied a knuckle or two on those as well. EELs were my second favorite Cobra troops of '85, even above the much loved Crimson Guard back then. But nothing beat the Snow Serpent. ... Except that Snow Serpents were EELs, also.. so maybe a circular argument 😊. Love the WWII Canadian gear especially that Enfield. The BD jacket is in excellent condition as well as the helmet, great to see. Salute to your family for their wartime service, Dave.

Yeah, he lied about his age in 1917 so he could join the canadian army (he was only 16) , went to France in WWI , then tried to go again in 1941 but they said he was too old (he was 42) , but managed to join after trying and went to France again 😂, he might have been the oldest Canadian Infantrymen to serve in WWII. My grandma told me stories of him before she passed back in 2017. And my other grandpa was in the battle of the atlantic merchant marines navy 40 - 45. Great men. So proud to be here. Yes that bearing was a pain 😅. But finally got it and Trump won so l feel great! Snow Serpants are king!

Great video Dave! I am super jealous you get to work on a cool car. I makes me miss the days when I used to work on my 79' Camero. Interesting stuff there with Cobra Commander in the comics. I like those stories and look much better than the cartoon lol. I applaud you putting the phone down. I have cut back on my usage too. Ahh the smell of freedom from that chain. 😂. I am proud of our generation too go gen X!

I remember you said you had a 79. I have been looking at them again thinking of getting one..l really like the body before they switched in 1982. Yes, the marvel story is way better imo. Gen X kicks ass! I might come back on instagram in a bit if they change their extreme woke policies , l miss you guys

@gijoedavec-straightfromthepit yep I had the 79 with the 305 engine. I was smaller than the 350 version but I liked it. Super easy to work on. I agree that the body on the 79 is cooler, a more classic vibe. The 82 version is cool, very 80s for sure, but a drastic change in style.

I started collecting in the 80's. I'm 57 now and still collecting the 3.75 to 4 inch figures, vehicles and whatever else I think that I can use with them

Great Video Dave. I'm glad Clutch was able to help you with your repair. Thanks for sharing your nation's Remembrance Day. That's really cool you have some gear from WWII.

Yeah, he always helps me out in the garage. And is always talking about picking up chicks 😅. Yes remembering what soldiers did for us motivates me to be a better person. I think l might come back on instagram soon, to hang out with the joe community more.

I have the hiss megatron and absolutely adore it. Yes, hundreds of thousands of Canadians fought and died in WWI and II. Fighting alongside the USA. In fact, the devils brigade was a the best special forces unit in WWII, it consisted of top American and Canadian men... the badge was a red arrrowhead with canada and usa on it. They left cards on dead germans to bring fear to the enemy. Thanks for commenting ! Yo Joe
