Pythona is such an awesome villain. And the civilization of Cobra-La is interesting. How they use weird bio-organic technology reminds me of the race from the Star Wars legends universe, the Yuuzhan Vong. I could be wrong, but I believe Cobra-La was what gave the inspiration for creating the Yuuzhan Vong. In fact, I think Cobra-La and the Yuuzhan Vong would probably become instant allies if they ever met.

Something I noticed watching all these scenes together. First scene of the movie, Pythona breaks into Cobra headquarters as if she was on a Sunday walk. Tears though steel and beats up I'd say 30 mooks without breaking a sweat. She's unstoppable. About 90 minutes later she's taken down by ONE of the heroes' new recruits. Something really doesn't make sense here.

I doubt it would be better... I agree that the animation for its time was beautiful, but reboots are not always the best and the classic are always better. Some examples of awful reboots Ben 10, Teen Titans, She-Ra from He-Man ect. Movies and Animations are not the same as how they used to be back then. You can see how much time the creators spent in making them, with passion and love for their work. If they spent more time on a animation i think it would've been better.
