I think only Soyeon being Buddhist is confirmed in the TV. Minnie is from Thai who is majority Buddhist, so you might assume that she is one too. Yuqi quoted some bible verse before so I kind of expect she could be Christian. Miyeon and Shuhua never indicated anything about religion as far as I know.

Yeah and also these type of videos always claim that like 80% of korean idols are christians, when in reality that is not statistically possible. Cause only 27% of koreans are christians and over 50% of koreans are atheists. Like it’s not possible that almost every idol would be religious😂

Agreed its a little funny that its only called out when its not someone’s personal religion lol. America is much more largely christian & I think ppl project that onto east asia when it’s actually alot less common there/atheism is a larger percent of the population than in the west. Not to mention there’s a lot of people on both sides of the world who are either lightly religious or more broadly spiritual than tied to a religion but not full atheists. But either way these videos are largly made up lol & it shouldnt matter what religion they are as long as they’re not acting hateful because of it.

But as for me, who is a Christian, I don't think it matters if they're religious or not. That's their privacy and none of our business. They are one of the first Kpop groups that I listened to and added to my playlist after I was reintroduced to Kpop back in 2021.

I feel really bad as a Buddhist looking at these comments. People are really mean. I don’t even know why people are interested in idol’s religions and wishing if they were Christians or something. If these idols were said to be Christians no one will even ask for resources. It’s really rude to disrespect someone else’s religion. That’s what my religion taught me.
