If you are wondering why Yamai hasn't been arrested is because (and) with every passing episodes we can see that beyond Komi's normal friends (Tadano, Onemine, Manbagi, Kometani), literally everyone in this anime including the rests of Komi's "FRIENDS" are quirky like butterflies. I am not saying they are as charming as butterflies. Butterfly is a symbol of PSYCHE, Greek Goddess of Soul and Cupid's lover. And what is term that used "psyche" words? The answer is a lot, but if you are a nonsense people and want to relate word "Psyche" to this anime, the match one is "Psychopathy". "Psychiatric disorder" (synonymous with mental disorder) also uses word "Psyche". I am sure your perception will be like "THIS WEIRDO INTHE COMMENTS SAID STUPID WORDS". I accepted it, but I just want to EXPRESS myself. The reason why I am relating "Psyche" with this anime cause most of the students are apparently not normal, you can say they are all UNIQUE (I appreciate what the author Oda Tomohito created, I have no means to insult). Some or most of Komi's school mates are all either completely Freaks, weirdos, loners, miscreants, eccentrics, oddballs, funny, flashy, beyond reasons, hypocrites, insane, crazy, creepy creeps, psychopaths, sociopaths. In short, the school is filled with problem children aka problem people, and that's why I called Komi and her friends "PEOPLE OF BUTTERFLY GARDEN". Do you want to insult the show ? Don't do it cause you are ruining the fun of this show. Besides, Itan Private School (Komi and Tadano's school) is a unique school with entrance exam is only based on interview, with passing standards are based on PERSONALITY aka Quirkiness, even poor people who live in poverty can get in this school, which makes the school of this anime/manga recognized as a SPECIAL SCHOOL. But please note that the cast don't have a dangerous mental illness and this is a special school not a mental asylum, although psychopaths are also parts of PROBLEM CHILDREN SCOPE. But if the authors want to create these casts got a dangerous mental disorders, they will all DIE of course, with Yamai will be the most dangerous psychopath in fiction.
