Gong Jun is a very competent cook as can be seen in the complicated dishes he prepared in Chinese Restaurant Season 5. As an actor on the set, instead of eating supplied takeaway food, here he prepares a simple dish that is nutritious and tasty, and can be done in a matter of minutes. He says he likes to eat lots of fresh vegetables, and that accounts for his beautiful skin and lustrous complexion, as vegetables and fruits (tomato is actually a fruit) have lots of vitamins and minerals that are beneficial to skin cells. Interesting to note that he chose to drink the relatively expensive French brand Perrier sparkling mineral water to go with his meal.
