Hi. Just a suggestion. Once the job offers, contracts' terms are different on Day 1, you should clarify firmly on the spots. But no right or no wrong, as you have make the right decisions a few months later. Thank you for sharing.
Worked in Hsin Chu Science Park from 1990 to 1992. When the director ( the company bear his name ) interview me in Singapore , and ask how much i want. I told him straight in the face whatever you offer I will accept because i don't know the standard of living in Taiwan. But I told him if I get much lower than Taiwanese ,then you are wasting my time and your time and money.Period. I guess he get the picture because I will straight away fly back if after some months i found that i get lower pay. Luckily the Singaporean director was a gentleman, and i found out later I am getting much higher than the locals, all in. Maybe I can speak ead fluent English, mandarin and speak Hokkien (mi nam yu). Couldn't write Mandarin though. Had one of my best time in Taiwan.Thank you ,Taiwan.
Sorry to said, u look very young n without much working experience, to accept a new job offer the most important issue has to be that offer/appointment letter ( every single details are in black n white - legally in the aspect of law ). Agreed then sign off by both parties to avoid dispute later on Actually there r way too many things or way to share but can't do it much in writing, anyway all the best to u in your future undertaking
