@André Guimarães KOF sempre foi assim mano, combo de 50% é o mínimo que tem que ter no jogo, e não vejo problema nenhum na Vanessa, são combos de corner, que normalmente dão danos mais altos em QUALQUER jogo de luta. Vanessa não tem wakeup, não tem normais muito bons, é uma boneca pra quem sabe atacar bem, pra não tomar combo dela é só defender ué e fugir do canto, no meio do campo ela dá 30% de dano, é no corner que ela é mais forte, é só os players não ficarem no corner que não vão tomar 40, 50, 60% de dano. Ralf tá muito mais completo que ela e exigindo menos.

@André Guimarães primeiro mês do jogo, não é hora de nerf, é hora de deixar os caras jogarem, a Vanessa tem uma gap que dá pra agarrar no golpe lançador dela, dá pra usar o shatter strike também, é só ir jogando e aplicando que dá sim pra jogar contra Vanessa sem ficar chorando. Esse KOF tá com um nível técnico maior que do XIV. O popo nesse camp conseguiu lidar com Ralf e Terry jogando de Kyo. Tem que dar tempo pros caras jogarem, se tu jogar na loucura, vai tomar tudo o que é combo mesmo.

@André Guimarães Lembre que KOF não é SF, SF é 1x1, KOF é 3x3, ter um dano maior nos combos, é natural em lutas 3x3, e KOF com ampla maioria dos bonecos você joga bem safe, o jogo recompensa quem atacar mais e melhor, não é como SF que você tem que ficar jogando na base de plus, setups, KOF é diferente, muito mais dinâmico, mas sem perder a importância dos posicionamentos.

Vanessa não tem wake up, não tem bons normais pra controlar espaço, e exige que o cara saiba atacar muito bem e rápido. Pra mim não precisa de nerf nenhum, pessoal já começou a chorar, combo no canto sempre vai dar mais dano, Vanessa tem esse ponto positivo a favor dela, mas não precisa de nerf nenhum, é primeiro mês do jogo, os players ainda estão aprendendo a lidar com ela.

O jogo tá no primeiro mês ainda, mas o campeonato tá muito bom, tem pelo menos uns 30 bonecos que são bem competitivos, lógico que os pró vão escolher os mais competitivos, mas o jogo em si, tá muito equilibrado. Espero que a SNK não estrague o jogo com patchs de nerfs, o jogo talvez precise de buffs pra uns 10 personagens que estão bem fracos, mas no geral, maioria tá bom. Tem que dar tempo pro jogo, logo os pro players começam a descobrir detalhes de bonecos que podem fazer a diferença a alto nível. KOF nunca foi jogo pra ficar tendo festival de nerf, no máximo uns buffs e já era. E o jogo tá bonito de assistir, um nível alto e sem aquela farofada doida que tinha no XIV com 1 barra full combo.

Akira's single hit and counterhit confirms into full combos, you can definitely see his SFV experience coming over whereas a lot of other players are just aping with their jump CDs by doing another jump CD even if they get a counter hit.

I'm starting to see a pattern where modern fighting games nowadays suffer post-release mostly due to fellas flooding social media demanding immediate nerfs when the game hasn't even been out for a month. And once the nerfs happen, 9/10 times they were too harsh and the nerfed characters are not either really weak or unplayable. Let's not forget when a new character takes the crown of being "top tier" there's going to be fellas chanting for that character to have their legs chopped off. What happened to just playing the game?

He's a sitting duck without any and he's very slow at getting meter. Lets not forget Terry also needs meter to even do something useful. There is the reason why 60% of the competitor in this tournament use V/R/T Why? Because they are the most broken character in this META people complain because they keep seeing the same matchup even tho there are 39 characters in the roaster and we just see these 3 most of the time. Vanessa the best point 'cause she can do almost 40% health for free Ralf stand D is the best stand d can almost counter almost everything and have the best reach to poke people Terry the best damage dealer and easiest to combo can do 60% health with just 2 bar And most of all these characters are the easiest to do the damage without the need to learn that much. If you thought the game is fair and tell people to get good instead of complaining then why did you say that to these competitors? Yeah, tell them to use other characters why don't you? it's because it broken that why they use them it is that simple even ET the EVO champ Kof XIV need to drop all his favorite character to main just Vanessa Ralf and Terry just to have a chance again at this META BS. (It's a shame 'cause his Clark and Antonov is good so what?, are you gonna go tell ET Evo champ to keep using his favorite character too?) I hope SNK does NOT nerf anything until a few months have passed, and you see more than two people in finals STILL playing the same teams. The comments made me skim through the video matches and I am seeing a ton of character diversity. I think I saw around 10 matches total out of EIGHT hours of footage with some combination of Vannesa, Ralf, or Terry. Look at the OTHER characters in the game and to see if they are struggling versus them and why, first. There is always a very simple meta when a fighting game first comes out. Most pros look at the most obvious and simple strengths first, and other players follow them, but eventually people figure out counters. Listening to people who cry over something in your game is a bad way to go about things, because people will always get salty over something. Even most American pros spend most of their time on Twitter complaining about something. Four players using VRT out of how many entrants, I don't know. The last matches don't look like mirrors either, I still see a lot of different teams. Ralf and Terry are also popular SNK characters, Terry especially. I play him just because he's likeable. I think Vanessa's strengths lie in her command normal leading to easy hit-confirms, so most players will be a lot more consistent at gaining damage in tense situations like a tournament. I don't play either Ralf or Vanessa but I am glad they look strong because that means they are probably fun and every cool character deserves to be fun. I'll watch the actual tournament today and see if I change my mind.

A month is not a long time, the more data a developer can gather before making a decision, then the better their balance changes will be. If any tweaks are made at this point they should be tiny. Ex. Vanessa pushback on uppercut lessened. Nothing is actually broken here, just some really good players using a good point character. Maybe other characters need some better combo potential, or better punish tools. Maybe other players will develop counter strategies that work well but weren't known yet. Galera, vamos parar de chorar pra Vanessa, os combos mais fortes dela são no canto, é só você não deixar ela te encurralar no canto, boneca é bem específica pra player que saiba jogar na velocidade e atacar muito bem, a boneca tá sem wake up, os normais não muito bons, Vanessa só tá bem forte, mas não broken. Pra mim a única coisa que deveriam tirar, é o boneco que morre dar 1 barra pro seguinte, isso aí é ridículo, aí vira um problema, pois Vanessa com 1 barra, faz estrago. Mas tirando isso, é só deixar o jogo amadurecer e já era, Xiaohai já tá conseguindo lidar bem com Vanessa, é só questão de tempo pros outros players se adaptarem. A regra básica contra Vanessa é não deixar ela te mandar pro canto, senão você vai tomar, e isso já melhorou muito, nos KOFs antigos era 100% em qualquer canto da tela com 2 barras. E se nerfar ela, ela vai ficar inútil! Deixem o jogo amadurecer e aprendam a lidar com a boneca antes de chorar.

@@本気狸 sim, talvez devessem limitar o scalling damage, mas vanessa se você for ver bem, é basicamente só isso, pega mesmo a Elisabeth, qualquer juggle ela consegue emendar super/climax, tem muito mais recursos. Tem muito boneco que é viável que o pessoal só não escolhe por detalhes de dificuldade, já que os asiáticos são mais hardcore, acabam usando a Vanessa com maestria, mas se Vanessa estivesse tão broken quanto tão chorando, todo mundo em absoluto estaria usando ela, só os asiáticos que estão evoluindo ela demais, Leona não tá sendo usada na mesma frequência porque é um pouco mais difícil, mas em absolutamente qualquer canto da tela com 1 barra, ela tá tirando 40%. Pra mim o jogo tá equilibrado, tá muito cedo pra dizer que tá broken, o Xiaohai mesmo já tá aprendendo a lidar muito bem com a Vanessa, Vanessa do M' é muito bem anulada por ele.
