【公式】津久見扇子踊り（2m13s）Traditional dance - Tsukumi's Sensu dance

今から約450年前、戦国時代に戦没した勇士や農民の供養の願いをこめて、京舞いの流れを組む扇子踊りを創設したと伝えられています。
この踊りは、豪弓を引き絞る勇者のおもむき、乱戦の最中、古式ゆかしくもたしなみ装う『合せ鏡』の姿、果ては「エイエイオー」の勝利の声、さながら当時をしのぶ武士の心を今見るように感じられ、優雅・豊麗・哀歓をこめた扇子の流れも美しい舞姿は津久見市を代表する郷土芸能として今日まで引き継がれており、平成２４年には、大分県の無形民俗文化財に指定されました。
毎年８月の下旬には 「津久見扇子踊り大会」 が開催され、市から認定された「扇子踊り娘」をはじめ、津久見市内の大人から子ども会まで約８００人が扇子の舞を披露します。
About 450 years ago, it was handed down that Sensu Dance was founded on the basis of “Kyo-mai” for the service of warriors and farmers who died during the Sengoku period. The features of this dance are the elegance, richness and sorrow, the presence of the hero who draws the bow, and the appearance of an ancient “matching mirror”. You can feel the spirit of the samurai of the times.
This dance is handed down as a local performing art in Tsukumi City. This dance was certified as “Intangible Folk Cultural Property” by Oita Prefecture in 2012.
In Tsukumi City, the “Sensu Dance festival” is held every year in late August. A total of about 800 people will participate, including the city-certified “Sensu Dance Girls” and many adults and children living in the city.
