Many weapons were given the same treatment. it's not as obvious at first glance but once you look at the damage and mobility of the moves some weapons get, it becomes very clear that the same low effort high reward experience is happening. the only hope is that they did this to make it easier to play as a demo at an event and not how they play when the game releases, but that's very wishful thinking 🙏
a month ago we were completely oblivious to how dreadful we would be feeling right now, only excitement. i should rethink how attached i am to something and maybe take a step back so it won't bother me as much I'm scared too for the same reasons you listed
or hunting horn in rise in hopes it would be more popular. they clearly saw that it was worse and made hunting horn different from rise, but then made other weapons to through the same simplicity thinking this would be any better?
