According to Matt, they were trying to use it, but had issues. Their sound guy is gone for the entire month. So future performances will (hopefully) have it in full effect. You can hear it come through a few times here, but it just wouldn't stay.

@@muhammadamien4536 My thinking was that since A7X are highly inspired by Dream Theater (Petrucci is one of Syn's main influences and The Rev was also highly inspired by Mike Portnoy), that it would be a good place to start. A lot of A7X's music especially their more recent stuff has Dream Theater's fingerprints all over it not just Life Is But A Dream in particular. Also can't forget that Mike Portnoy did play drums on Nightmare and toured with them as well so...

A short should pop up from an interview made before the album came out, m shadows says that he wasn't expecting people to go so insane over cosmic in the early listening of the album so they didn't plan to play it live but they will do it in the future

I don't think that was intentional. Matt was having mic issues in (G) and the technical difficulties proceeded into (O)rdinary when his autotune wasn't working. The autotune device was clearly attached to him but just didn't work. Huge bummer but I still absolutely loved the show!

I love every song on the album. However, them playing those last three songs really took away a lot of what I loved seeing them live for. An energetic metal/rock show. I can vibe out to them in my car or wherever, just not at an A7X show

In person it was fucken amazing I was there vip through the creative artist agency and I saw them live was one of the most beautiful concerts I’ve ever seen both visually and audibly

i was at this show, it was my first concert ever. i had so much fun and i lost my voice after Afterlife hahaha. after the concert we got lost in the parking lot, while unfortunate i wouldnt change a thing about last night. i would definitely do it all again!

I love a7x, they haven’t toured in 6 years, and fans have been patiently waiting. Closing with G.O.D and not playing Cosmic or Beautiful Morning is upsetting. G.O.D are great in their own way but are forgettable. Encore songs should be songs that the fans love/yearn to hear live. They could’ve closed with god damm, paradigm, cosmic, exist, any other popular song. Hope they change the encore segment for MSG

When a singer does that to their ear, from my experience, it makes it easier to hear what you actually sound like. Your voice doesn't sound to you like it does to other people, but when I'm singing, I can hear myself better if I plug one ear.

It’s sad to say for me, seeing how I’ve been a very big A7X fan for years But I can hear Matt’s voice going. I hear him tryna hit some notes and ranges he used to be able to but just can’t now after his voice blew again The performance is by no means bad tho Still love them, (o)rdianary is such a beautiful track and the rest of the album is beautiful

I love both these songs. G sounds awesome here, but bro, ordinary is sounding very unpleasant without the voice effects. Studio version is ten times better. Also, don't know if it's just my impression, but M. Shadows sounding kinda tired after G, so this might be the reason.

I really like the new record but A7X has a quirk where every now and again they write a song that is blatantly taken from songs written by other artists. They did it a bit on the hail to the king record where they do Metallica rip offs and there is a part in the song off this record called beautiful morning that is a blatant rip off of Alice In Chains “them bones”. They are such a talented band but sometimes their inspirations show up too strong in their songs. City of evil and white album were the most original in my opinion.
