Hi Mark. Thank you for the honest review. There seems to be quality control issues with this razor and yours is typical of the kind of problem that seems to be happening. In my opinion this is not a replica, it is an imitation. Replicas should have original materials.

Thanks for watching John. There was another reviewer who talked about using multiple countries for parts. Regardless, it was final assembly that should pass the quality. They delayed so long it was rushed or let minor defects slide. Over promise, under deliver.

Great honest review. I watch a few reviewers on KZbin and like you, all had some type of issue. Unfortunately that lack of quality control has deterred me from ever purchasing anything for GSC. To have to pay for return shipping due to their error is not good business. And as you mentioned, why pay more more money for a replica when you get get the real one for less. Looking forward for more to come.

Probably better off bro. I will look into a machined razor cause the timeless was surperb. Borrowed from Ken so need somerhing for the den. Maybe the 6S 🤔

Don't feel bad I didn't get the travel pouch either with my Chromed version of the Fatguy. But I am guessing it was for a select backers of the project.

It is what it is. I am not a huge fan of the razor. It is ok, nothing special. I normally use other selection if I go for an adjustable. I will use it from time to time. My favorite is the Gillette Black Beauty.

It's good to see you finally received your Fatguy Mark. It's a handsome looking razor. Quite a few people have complained about quality issues. I'll stick with my 1959 Fatboy. It was the same story when the Outlaw was introduced. An introductory price! But it's still up for sale at that introductory price. I'm glad it shaves OK. I'm getting the Blackland Dart tomorrow. Perhaps there is a theme with the company? It shaves, but not a $100 razor in quality. It may cost that much to produce in this age but lets weight the resale value. With covid, it's a life lesson that things change quickly. Perhaps frugal spending will be the norm for a while.
