Hi Paul the reason you don’t hear of Global Shave Club is they merged with Dev Suisse and are now called Swiss Shave. I have occasionally used Pears for a pre shave it’s got glycerin in I remember seeing this tip a while ago but cannot remember where. Savers 125g bar 79p or 4x100g bars £2. Love Nacet blades and the razor reminds me of a Weishi. Kind regards to the florist and hope you both keep well and keep safe.

Nicely done Paul💈💈 I'm thinking Weishi makes that razor as well as many others for numerous companies. Proraso professional is good stuff, as is to be expected. Wonderful display of color today, thank you Mrs H. I can confirm that the Excalibur is a rebranded Weishi. I emailed GSC / Swiss Shave to ask when they first added the razor a couple of months ago and they confirmed it.

Found Pears Amber at a Dollar Tree and bought a bar. It is exceedingly good as a preshave and I can see why my paternal grandfather had an amber bar soap at his house when I was a kid. I went back and bought about 8 bars which should be enough preshave to last my remaining days lol

my brother in law is a dermatologist and recommends the original palmolive classic soap when you have problems with candidiasis on the skin , also many people in mexico use this handsoap for normal shaving , since shaving soap is not available in many places and also for the poor people too expensive , saludos desde mexico

yes normally when a person has small red spots on the penis than you have to use the palmolive classic soap to eliminate them , this is due to candidiasis , this in order to avoid hydrocortisone which is very harmfull, also palmolive soap is one of the few soaps you can use everyday since the ingredients are totaly natural . In mexico we can still buy the original classic palmolive , maybe in europe not anymore , but still I see that the one you are using is almost as the classic one , saludos desde mexico .

My sotd was: Hasslinger Schafmilch (Sheeps milk) shaving soap, facelathered with your 26mm synthetic signature brush from DSCosmetic, Baili BR 192, Voskhod teflon coated, elkos Q10 aftershave balm ans Arko aftershave cologne black edition. I keep each of my pre-shave soaps in their own separate dish with it's own designated brush; that way the brush doesn't introduce it's assigned soap to any other pre-shave or soap, makes application easier for me. What works for me might also work for others ;) Fwiw, I would fancy watching you do a budget shave using Pears soap exclusively, or any other value-based bar soap not really meant for shaving, as the surprise factor is entertaining for me when a regular bar soap delivers a really good shave. I know regular performer an artisan soaps are going to come thru, but it's always a pleasure for me when a regular bar of soap takes center stage and doesn't disappoint. Have a great week!

Excellent shave Paul so similar to the Weshi Razor but looks good in all black. The flowers by MrsH are beautiful as ever. My SOTD Will be Pearl Flexi with Willys blade. Yaqi Timber wolf brush Lea classic shaving cream followed by Blue Stratos Aftershave and Nivea fresh aftershave balm. MOTD will be Roast Chicken with cauliflower broccoli and new potatoes with lashentoes of gravy enjoy your day my friends all the best

Hello Paul great shave. I also have many Proraso product big fan myself. SOTD Hholly Jaw Scentropy shaving soap. AP 24 mm SynBad knot with a marble handle. Fat Guy Razor with a Nacet blade. Most wanted Master Soap Creation after shave. Nivea Men after shave balm. My meal today is home made Butter chicken. it's been marinating over night. Your videos are always a highlight of my day. Hello and thank you, no this Excaliber was sent to me direct from the company, it works well, good weight. Yes our father’s grandfathers used to use the hand soap as a shave soap many times.

Proraso calls this line of products the Single Blade line. It was originally intended for professional barbers using shavettes. The Proraso logo is set at a diagonal on the packaging of this product line. Some straight edge shavers really like this shave cream for its slickness. It looks like it performs better than the generic Proraso cream, as you drew no blood today.

Happy Sunday Paul! The flowers are such a treat. Are those Daffodils? Thank you Mrs. H!! I agree with you about the Italian shaving soaps, they are excellent! I love my Proraso Red; great stuff. Those Russian made Gillette blades are all nice, Nacets being among the best of the best. SOTD: Above the Tie Classic M2 Atlas razor loaded with a 1970 Personna 74 blade (21st use...yes, I know I said I would bin it). Proraso Red shaving soap, face lathered with a Simpson Trafalgar T3 synthetic brush. Finished with Thayer's AF SF skin toner and PAA Diver Down aftershave. The razor and blade provided a BBS with little effort. I would say the Personna 74 blade cut easily on the WTG and XTG pass. The ATG pass had a little resistance, but not uncomfortable...just degradation in keenness. Will it make it to shave 23? I have no clue, but any blade that can deliver over 20 shaves is a great blade in my book. Great looking shave Paul! Your enthusiasm for shaving is infectious. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

Thanks for the shave, Paul. I like GSC. Sheldon puts out decent products for reasonable cost. My SOTD was a Honeysuckle Glicerin soap wet and glided over a 2-day beard as pre-shave much as you did here, folllowed by a proper Arianna & Evans Ouddiction hard soap, face-lathered with a big Razorock beehive brush with a plissoft two-band synthetic knot, and then three passes with my RR gamechanger 0.84 loaded with a brand new feather hi-stainless platinum coated blade. Finished up with some cucumber witchhazel, sprayed on, then Clubman Pinaud After shave lotion. Near BBS. Tiny bit of heat from the feather on the first use, but subsided upon application of the witchazel. Nice shave.

Love the yellow Proraso, also have the Cologne ,funny thing the yellow proraso in can is very different its cacao lol i tried using hand soap for pre shave worked fine, i remember talking to a parent when i worked in a Kindergarten he suffered badly of razor burns he started using hand soap as shaving soap in the shower worked for him. great video and shave fun stuff. Hey Paul. I often use my bar of Ivory as a pre-shave. It’s got good lubricity but tens to dry very quickly. My SOTD was Shannon Barbershop Soap with my Razorock Hawk SE and Feather Pro blade. That was followed by SS Botanica splash. I’m going to BBQ some Baby Back Ribs with pork-n-beans and home made coleslaw. Weather is nice here in Phoenix,AZ.
