This one's all about the drums and bass, as I love the rhytm section! Gray’s bass playing in Shadows in the Night is on fire-solid and full of power, really shows off his versatility and passion. Fabio’s drumming is tight and full of energy, pushing the track forward with a mix of skill and feeling. Together, they take the song to a whole new level. You Guys are great! But honestly, the real magic comes from the production by Jukka-he’s a total perfectionist, the guy knows how to make everything shine.

The mystical beginning of the song makes you wait for a minute for the movie to begin. I've listened to the song about double dozen times now and it gets better each time, although it's not definitely the easiest one in many aspects, but it develops very well towards the end and between listenings. The chorus in particular helps keep your head above water. Convincing energy from all the artists can be seen and feel. I expected the mysticism of the beginning of the song to come back more in the middle of the song with keys, but it didn't - unfortunately. The inconsistent backgrounds in the video were somewhat distracting, but on the other hand, the pattern on the bassist's t-shirt saved it in its own way;) The bar is set high in this first song of the G series goes vocal fusion - waiting for the direction it aims to have...
