Great footage! G-SIXC has been used as a restaurant at Coventry Airport for many years now.

Nothing... i repeat nothing we have nowerdays can replace these old birds. Its just such a shame that not one of them have flown for many, many years with G-SIXC's last flight being from spain to coventry some 17 years ago.

i remember handing the pilots their paperwork o n this aircraft in the 80s sometime...what i remember most vividly about the pilots was that they seemed even younger than me (me mid 20s) and of an extreme scruffy appearance

i mean they had the same blue shirt on as me with shoulder epelettes but no stripes and the creases were in the hundreds....always remember it.....thats cargo pilots eh?
