I put myself in front of a systema teacher in seattle and he gave me a little sample of this stuff. you would be surprised to learn the barriers this art breaks, I neaver been in a real fight and neaver known what it meant to get hit real hard and systema teaches you to deal with conflicts without fear. once You overcome the fear of pain You will be able to deal with conflict.

:) I know what you mean. he's always got that mischevious little smile on his face, hasn't he? I think he's at a point where he's basically never tense in combat work (of in life, for that matter), and so its like he's in this state of constant amusement. The Dalai Llama is the same. (And Mikhails' obvious love of a good feed doesn't hurt!)
