35 Assistant needs to have several seats!! I know he hears the difference between the two programs and 35 sounds really good, but Carver is on another level. Regardless if they played a song last year, they are playing the hell out of it this year too!! But 35 sounds really good!! It’s good for the City as a whole that all of the bands are getting really good again like it used to be in N.O.!!

Slight edge to Carver but both did well… 35 tubas was on it 💯🔥…. Carver please do something about y’all tubas… no growth from last year 🤷🏾‍♂️ 35 should’ve started off with that second to last song. They need to keep songs with that energy 💯🔥 35 won the girlfriend battle

I don’t think it was a “slight” edge from what I heard Carver one every round in my opinion except one song that I don’t know the name of because of a mess up. 35 sounds amazing as well and definitely grown from last year but Carver’s arrangements and song selection was better this parade. 35 definitely has some serious tuba players but you have this give these kids some props for pushing the whole battle and being heard on parts they was supposed to play they have alot of times to grow. This not the end of parade season there’s many more parades to come so I can’t wait to see what these two programs show what they have tho.

Both bands are nice but Carver was more consistent. That 2nd to the last song 35 played before Girlfriends. If they would have had more songs like that the outcome may have been different, But Carver was definitely a step above 35.
