Background:
The Hmong are an ethnic group originally from southern China, now living primarily in China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and the United States.
“Guzheng” or “Zheng” (古筝): A traditional Southeast Asian instrument commonly known as the Chinese Zither. There are many versions of the Guzheng from other cultures such as the Japanese Koto and the Korean Gayageum.
