Niki Lauda a racer, a great human being and a hero. So it took Boeing 8 months to discover the flaw in the engine, and another 3 months for the lawyers to figure out how to deal with the family victims. Boeing new slogan should be "Money and business before human lives."

OE-LAV shouldn't be available to fly on 26th May 1991. The aircraft was showing a error message "LEFT REVERSE ISOLATION VALVE" months before the tragedy. My source is Austrian Wings website.
