the light you’re using should probably be pointed at the wall to provide more even and natural illumination instead of directly at your face, it’s pretty intense. especially with glasses. i’ve had this issue with direct lighting myself as a glasses wearer. just friendly advice

I don’t get why this veto is viewed as a giant misstep. By just looking at both of the teams mappools it is obvious that it would come down to either overpass or Anubis. In order to understand the decision G2s decision you have to look at the teams history with both maps. G2 played Anubis 3 times in 2024 and before that is was the teams permaban (only 2 matches in 2023). Meaning that they had little practice on the map and their results on overpass were pretty mixed aswell. On the other hand G2 played Anubis 9 times in 2023 with it being their own pick multiple times. The map was also in their map pool through out 2023 and to top it of G2 won the last couple of times they played Anubis fairly convincingly (even against a team like faze). Cloud 9 on the overhand have both of those maps in their map pool for quite some time. Moreover those are arguably cloud9s best two maps. It therefore makes sense for G2 to pick the map that they are more comfortable playing (which in this case is Anubis). This is just a case of an advantageous map pool for C9 rather than a bad map veto from G2.

just came from a video the algo gave me where the dude speaks up about the cheating situation in cs2 right now. top comments were all about his hairstyle. now i come here where some dude speaks about g2 decision making mistakes, top comments are about his lighting setup. its probably time to take a break from cs2 again for some months. work on my pile of shame of singleplayer games and stuff.

veto is bad for g2....c9 just ban inferno and nuke then it is easy for them, especially when g2 banned mirage for c9, since c9 is bad in mirage......g2 always choke in ancient and vertigo, overpass used to be their perma ban and c9 is quite good in overpass as well, so gotta ban overpass as well. meanwhile mirage is g2 permaban....then anubis is leftover for g2, c9 welcome it for sure, that is c9 best map...g2 is quite good in anubis as well, but it is a 50-50 map
