People saying that with Niko G2 would have stomped B8, you are dead wrong. We know how badly G2 can lose against tier 2 teams, especially at the beginning of the tournament. It is a classic G2 curse. Anyway, a win is a win. I am happy for my boys, though i had several heart attacks watching it.

Watch any match G2 won. By G2 fashion, they have to be on the losing side 70% of the game. Or let a bs comeback happen, only to win it in OT. (Very good example is BIG vs G2 on inferno, a while back.)

Overall, HeavyGod has quite good debut for G2, and Malbsmd show a decent performance when replacing Niko in Entry fragger. But the way Snax calling today is something very...weird to me. And Hunter hasnt find his 2023 form, it's a bit frustrated to see G2 struggling like this, but B8 has a good match after all. G2 need to solve their problems as soon as fast, or they gonna lost Monesy for free this summer

@@camopb1548 nah, HeavyGod is playing in a support role on T side and Anchor on CT Side. His role doesnt require so much impact on a match, but when it's come to CT he play an important role to take care for a whole bombside, and I think he did it quite good at all. G2 lost many stupid rounds because Snax usually makes delusional decisions tho. You really cant hope too much on a tier 2 player and wish he kill 3 or 4 player when playing as an anchor or support. The impact has to belongs to Awper, Entry Fragger or Lurker also. Today Hunter not in his best, just it

Also he didn't play better than hooxi statistically despite playing hooxis exact t side role and ct positions. Also hunters been a bot since cs2 but even so he's much better than stewie what a dumb take. You keep saying stewie played better than hooxi when the stats say otherwise. A .80 is worse than hooxis Average in g2

It might be just me but i absolutely hate how the casters talk about some of the players aspecially Niko. That's true, but even Monsieur knows there's nothing he can do, Niko It helped him get to where he is today, but it's important to keep going. Nico went to Falkcon because there he could retire with enough money. Sometimes you have to think about the future, not the whole past. g2It will be a good team, they need to be given time to get used to it. Niko left the team in good hands.

Big ups B8, played really well, arguably better than G2. Malbs slots real well into Niko's roles and i'm sure heavygod will be very worthy later on, but I think it's high time to get somebody to replace snax now that the "G2 fire power" arc is basically just malbs. Niko clearly had some form of leadership in the roster that Snax can't replicate by himself, a stronger more focused voice leading the team could also keep Hunter and Monesy on point too idk.
