cant blame him for this, i think we are all upset with g2 performance. They look so good in playoffs and then what happened..? Not only they stopped winning, they just stopped fighting back. Good they can play so many different playstyles, teamcomps.. but i guess because of it they didnt practice one that would be their main, playing it the best. Botlane looked like total trolls on this worlds... BB? You couldnt see him. And Caps, Jankos..? Looked like they r a bit scared to do something so they play passive knowing how bad it goes on other lanes. For me it was Caps/Jankos > BB > Targamas/Flakked. Im curious if they will change something about their mental or will try to replace botlane for example.

FNC showed no ability to adapt the entire year, they played the same way they always had from spring week 1, they needed teams to play their game and if they didn't FNC would go full LPL and try to take every fight they can or play super greedy and hope teams don't punish you which won't work at worlds. G2s top side defined this team, bot lane got the short end of the stick most of the time, which means it's on them to survive through the early stages and for the other 3 to allow the game to be played through them. So when BB gets shafted in lane in what should be a counter match matchup it serves as a brutal reminder western top laners have not been able to fight skill or even carry matchups against the best since 2020 really and their best shot at being useful is to play tanks. RGE look good and have won against good teams, and unless its our turn to get the 0-9 week they are probably making it to quarters. But similarly to both FNC and G2 you know exactly what RGE wants to do to win and how each of their players play, which means in the time between the end of groups and quarters whoever they'd play can start finding ways of adapting and countering how RGE play.

@@stacoftw8568 The difference is Ego. Odoamne is completely okay with playing a tank on toplane and not care if he loses farm tl get his team ahead. Larsen is fine playing Orianna, not Akali or Sylas( he can play those champs he just doesn't have to). Comp is good on any adc pretty much and Malrang plays agressive early to get his team advantages and is flexible with his builds. Trymbi is just mr consistent.

Incredibly embarrassing group stage for an org like G2. Signing flakked was a massive mistake. An ADC playting at that level should never be at worlds representing a major region. Brokenblade and targamas were also pretty bad signings but flakked really takes the cake for probably being the most overhyped signing. All of this just so they can spend 0 Euros on players.
